Im really loving this rom so far thank you for all your hard work! One issue im encountering is that when I'm in my text messages it loads reaaaaaaaally slow most of the time. I have to tap the screen and wait like 20 seconds or sometimes it wont even let me type then I have to exit it fully and go back to the text message to type. Ive cleared my messages and reset phone and it continues to do this. Im running the Black Stock Rom, any suggestions greatly appreciated Thank you!

when I have had auto provisioning run it doesnt install a cab or visibly or anything it just soft resets. also XDA_UC runs on second boot and if you dont use hit menu and click exit you will go to the sense screen. will get to work on IE soon.

I forgot to mention, Auto Provisioning did not work for me. What I saw was that it tried launching the program, but bombed out and soft-reset after without running all of the way. I ran the .cab file by itself in \Windows for Verizon and it worked fine.

Must be something related to something pre provision .cab my guess.

Try running .cab from \Windows, Dr.

Thanks for the cab idea. I ran the cab, but it was still wonky.
Showing no bars but able to make calls no problem?
The text in all the landscape modes is also fuzzy now.
I went back to 1.5, I'll check out the next release.

I ended up moving on to android but im missing the fun in cooking up roms with all you guys on messenger.

lol well you are definitely missed here. I know some complain about the issues with WM, but for some of us chefs its like crack to cook and fix everyones issue. ya need to come back and visit us in the messenger every now and again.

my text messaging sound doesn't work even tho i changed the ringtone to a basic one from the notifications and set it to also vibrate but none of that is working. tried to reset after the change but its not helping. any suggestions?

by the way what you guys think is the best backup software that will backup the text messages along with the contacts?

hey any chance we could get a windows colored start menu icon in the lower left corner rather than the square with 4 little squares for the htc stock theme. thatd be cool not to many roms have the stock red green blue and yellow windows icon.

"my phone" back up cooked in rom does it, back up folder is where youll find it.

you can change it yourself im pretty sure, google it. let me do it for ya, heres 22 of them.

sbr all sems good so far on beta, threaded email works fine and nice to see it cooked in. im gonna load it up now to put her through the stress test. provision/xda went fine as usual and big thanx to ziggy(again) for ftp space, 3min dl sure is nice.
