While power is on, hit vol down + end key + reset button (under battery cover) EDIT: also try razorlove's method in the next post (need to hold the buttons down for a sec). Last edited by willyjay; 06-21-2010 at 11:16 PM. |

Re: [ROM] Verizon MR2 Fixed by Mr. X, Boots with an unlocked device
Update on my use of Mr. X's fixed MR2. All is wonderful. An excellent ROM, what MR2 should have been. Lots of features, and NO SOD!! Except in one situation
![]() Last night, I made sure the display was on when I plugged it in, and in Settings>All Settings>System>Power>Backlight, I made sure that the display was set to never go off when the phone was plugged in. That did the trick, the phone is behaving correctly now, the display cycles on and off as it should... Tonight I am going to try again to charge it with the display off, but I'm pretty sure there is an issue there, we'll see. And I am going to give it awhile to wake up, as suggested, it seems to sleep very deeply ![]() |

Another update, or announcing a lack of one. I've determined that the only fix I have for SOD with Mr. X fixed ROM *when charging* is to make sure the display is on, and the backliight is set to stay on when charging. Works for me, and thanks again!

Anyone know an easy way to get the WinMo menu back. I've never cared for the HTC menus.
