I am giving it a go as well and just found that today... hit the battery icon you see in the top row! It will bring you to the power screen you're probably used to seeing.

Sometimes when I hit power (top) button, the phone will wake, and then screen will blank as in sleep a second later. I have noticed this on 3.3 and 3.4 and in sense and WP7themed. Then sometimes it is devilishlyy hard to wake... Thoughts? (not huge...)

Ok, I got this fixed with a little exploration in the registry. I figured I would post it in case someone else wanted to change theirs.

Ok, the animations that play on the pictures bar have to be located in the folder for animations. And they have to be a certain size and dimension. So if you want to change the pics on animation you have to make them smaller than 124kb and should be 378x180 pixels if you want to be able to see the whole picture. You can only have 5 pictures max in this folder that will be visible to the slideshow, all others will be ignored. - I credit this info to the "instructions_animation.txt" file that is located in that folder.

\Program Files\HostV1.5\Animation

Also, when you click the pictures tile, it opens your albums. If you are seeing tmp files from the web and lots of random stuff in there you don't want to be seen as albums..... You can add paths to the ignore key in the registry.

HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAlbum\Ignored

Just add new string values to block the folders you don't want to show up as albums. I added the following string values.

IETemp-SC REG_SZ \Storage Card\IETemp
MMS-SC REG_SZ \Storage Card\My Documents\UAContents
Storage-SC REG_SZ \Storage Card\Storage
Facebook-Temp REG_SZ \Temp

I came back and change the "Pictures" folder to the "My Pictures" folder and "Video" to "My Video" because although it worked, it was causing images to appear twice in the initial view of the HTC Album view.

are you guys having issues downloading (windows,pdf)files on these builds when using outlook?
it takes forever and a day, even for a very small size file.

is there a registry key that will speed up downloads?

How I wish I could get that to work for you man. WP7 uses different dll's and other technologies we don't have. Unfortunately your just gonna have to run out and buy a wp7 device. It does AMAZING things though.

I will certainly search. I'm toying around with outlook/tmail so we will see if it helps. I'll get an rc out soon enough.

I believe it's my sleep settings. I changed them up for the rc that will be coming.
