Going with build 23568 for now it reclaims memory a little better so if all goes well with the uploading a ROM will be posted shortly

Thx for this JD.....just an FYI also.....23569 seems to be the best imo for memory....running Vins rom and never even worry about running clean ram...

So far, this thing is just smokin'. Have not run into anything yet. All seems to work -FB contacts, Sprint stuff, etc. Even my evil Lotus Notes work email that hates most 6.5.X builds. Very nice. Thank you.

working great so far. Will report back if I find any bugs. Oh yah, there is one minor one that I have run across after I installed the cab to re-enable the soft menu keys. When you go into settings, there is no back soft key.

@JD Do you have a E.T.A.? because if it will be sooner than later I would rather skip installing this ROM, so that I can install the update.

Can't wait. I'm enjoying the current one much better than 6.5.3.
This one has been smoother with less hiccups.

Swype version 2.0 is the one you need. I had issues with swype latest version 3.0, on other roms. I just re formated my lappy so lost alot of my cab piggy bank. So Im unable to post an attch of swype 2.0.

I am enjoying this rom. Was having a little issue with the calendar tab not wanting to show the Agenda, but for some reason its working now. Thanks for the start menu/xbutton cab, couldnt get use to using only hard keys, might be cool if we gained some screen but the softkeys are there anyways takign up space.

I'd just like to say that this is the greatest 6.5.x rom ive ever used, the lay out is perfect once you break your old habits of what should be where & i hope you dont stray from it on the next rom

Wow, kind of quite in here. Besides a couple freeze ups during sms loading which forced me to do a soft reset, this has been a solid rom. I've experienced a little lag after installing Cookie Home Tab but I'm willing to hang on to it due to the benefits of CHT.

Jd still enjoying the rom. Very fast except for the htc menu enhancement is ssuper slow - i kind of think the htc isnt needed since they redid the menus in 6.5.5 :)

Re: JD's Custom Windows Mobile 6.5.5 ROM 5-24-10

Loving the ROM, it is the CLEANEST ROM out there. I see many ROMs with titles like Squeaky Clean and all but in reality they are filled with crap. I love how there is over 260mb of flash memory initially on the phone.

One thing I found that might be helpful to the rest is that the INPUT setting is gone from the Personal Settings. I needed that to activate my TouchPal program. If I open up the SIP options when it pops up, it takes me to the Manila Input Settings which doesnt let me mess with the TouchPal Settings.

I did a google search and this is what I found for a solution and it works:

bug:
input setting is hidden by default , to show it in setting->personal, delete the "redirect" key in registry:

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Input]
"Group"=dword:0;
"Redirect"=""

PS: I only used your ROMs for Touch Pro cause they were the cleanest and fastest.

I have been watching this thread and waiting for the bugs to be worked out before downloading.. I am still running your 6.5 rom, but want to give the 6.5.5 a try.. is the current link on the front page the most updated, or do you have something in the works I should hold out for?

I always appreciate your work and default to your roms.

I used your ROM on my TP quite a bit. Been looking for a simple but reliable 6.5.x and I think I found it. I look forward to your next build and promise when I get back into town I'll donate for your work.

Went out of town on business...heavy phone usage for email, navigation and phone use as I left my laptop. This rom was perfect. Battery life, everything. Can someone who know's JD tell me how to donate to him via paypal? He deserves it with this rom. If I missed the donate link, please point it out to my old eyes. Thanks

Thanks very much for this rom, it's running well and pretty clean.

Any way to re-enable titanium's "messaging" option for the home screen? I don't see it available in the list. I've run the .cab to re-enable titanium.

Thanks again!
