Thanks! Now I can stop pulling my hair out.

Any reason 6.5.5 essentially gets rid of the useful "end program" thing I used to access in the upper right hand corner?

not really sure, but if u install that ArkSwitch that info[]box included in his post on page 3, you can put a shortcut to it on one of ur quick links on the home tab :)

I have clean installed. Nice package of apps, etc. I hate to even ask because it seems so insignificant, but is there an easy what to put the bottom curtain back on so the slider is not transparent?

Thanks Lynkz83 but I disable the HTC plug in and use a plain today screen so that wouldn't work for me.

As I said I do not like ArkSwitch, but if you use it there should be options for it to be attached to the top bar of the screen to tap and have it open up.

Can anyone help me out with the sprint tv cab?..i tried installin the one i have and it doesnt work...does anyone know where i can get the correct cab to watch sprint tv?..thanks

Thanks. Love the ROM. Just what I was looking for - Clean and simple so I could add all the junk (a lot of what nobody here needs) on myself without running out of memory.

I did notice one bug - Many times when I start to type it will change to t9 from ABC. It usually occurs after I have hit the shift button (and at first I thought that it was just an accidental touching of that button. But I have been careful and noticed that it is not because I have hit the t9/ABC button). It is not a big deal, but is there a fix?

I tried with my tv cab and it did not work until I used a different provisioning. Here is what I did:
1. I used this provisioning cab from Mrx (I do not know from which link/post I got it from). But it works.

2. After installing and rebooting, go to comm manager and click on the data bar. Click on "Manage Existing Connections"

3. It should show Sprint #777

4. Click OK

P.s.

If you do not click on manage existing connections this will not work (you will not be able to turn on data).

Make sure data connection is on. It should work after that.

I have also included my tv cab (I also got it off of here, but I do not know where so I can not give thanks to the correct person).

I hope the uploads work because it is the first time that I have done this.

verizon mms does not seem to work, when i click the mms message, it states "download" so i click on download and the prompt just disappears. I ran the provisions, etc, no luck.. any help?

did you try running the tjelite cab attached to the first post? i believe that is required for verizon folks mms

Does anyone know what the SMSpatch in the startup folder does? I removed it and added an arcsoft cab I found before on here. It still seems to work fine. I was just wondering what it did? If I needed to add it back to the startup folder?

Did you install the sprint keyboard cab?

From a fresh flash after running provisioning, the only thing you have to do is install tjElite. That's it. Works everytime.

Which keyboard cab? I will search for one or are you talking about one specific one?

Also, what does the SMS Patch file do? I took it out of the start up folder and used an arcsoft cab that I had from a different post. Still seems to work, although I do not really use SMS much to really test it.

I just used the kb fix from your XpressDusk-Sense (Biggzz - Post # 29). Is this the correct one?

If it is, I have attached it for anyone else that may need it.

Also wondering what the SMSPatch in startup did...first time I seen a ROM have a SMS related fix in startup. I did notice a small annoyance when I click on a new text is that I have to scroll down to read it when I open it.

Also there is a glitch where you cannot set or change the date for an appointment. You can change the time, but clicking on date does not bring up a date selection.

I found that if you do this provisioning (the one I supplied from MrX), the Sprint TV will work, but that MMS will stop working. But if you then do the provisioning supplied (Tools -> Carrier Provisioning) on top of this, you will get both (Sprint TV & MMS) to work.

Just an FYI for those that want Sprint TV to work.

Also, I am sorry, but I am still curious. Does the SMS patch need to be run on every reboot or is it a one time thing. And what does it do?

Love the ROM, but just curious about that. Thanks.

SMS Patch is part of getting the built in manila messaging to work properly. It will be removed from the next version.

couple of issues.

1. phone dialer doesnt show my contacts or any number as i dial them.

2. text messages freeze up A LOT. i have to go to tsk manager to close it and sometimes it wont re-open till after a soft reset.

3. cant call people from my contacts, like i can click the "call contact" but nothing, the "send txt" option works tho.

aye and also. the backlight doesnt turn off while im in a call with the phone near my face, like it used to do.....

On the latest... Quite nice! Something odd though...

On the Sense Mail Tab the email doesn't show. Clicking on the Inbox opens the inbox and all of the emails are there...

That is odd.
I have not had that issue on any of the XYC roms, let alone the latest official release.
All I can say is to save your CHT settings and try a flash dance. I know it is what everyone says, but you could try a simp;e Hard Reset. That has worked for me in the past as while I am flashing I get a phone call or text and it seems to cause odd problems once in awhile.

OK. Did the dance and the email problem went away.

I'm really digging this ROM.

Have a new weird thing now... I'll flash dance again later tonight.... but since I use the texting quite often for work related things I text to multiple recipients sometimes. When inputting the individual to text second names aren't shown (you know the suggestions that are made by the system).

Anyone? Or like I said I'll just reflash again later and let y'all know if it gets fixed....

hmmm...I do not text multiple recipients very much if at all. I will need to try. I am assuming you are NOT using Swype that is with the rom, as it does not work well or at all with HTC bringing up the suggested names. I don't think a flash dance would work on that ???



EDIT: ok it is working for me. I am using the Full qwerty keyboard and you cannot hit space after the semi-colon or it will not bring up any names or only names with a space in front of it. try it out let me know if it works.
