Chris have you fixed the Data Connection always on issue? Taskbar Data Arrows are always on.

This is normal even with all the stock sprint roms. Only problem I have is that sometimes an application will hang trying to make an external connection even though the connection is already made. There must be some way to prioritize outbound connections, but I have yet to find out how.

For instance, say a connection to "sprint" is already active. I then want to make a "phone as modem" connection. I have to manually terminate the "sprint" connection before a phone as modem connection can be made. I would like to have one connection have a higher priority than another, so that it could terminate a lower level connection automatically.

since there isnt but those 3 changes from beta2 can you post up the 3 cabs to do the same instead of flashing agian, would appreciate it

I try to update as often as possible so you guys have the most up-to-date ROM to install at your discretion.

the only reason i ask cuz i used to flash every update but now im trying to stray from that an only weekly-bi-weekly. but if its there i might bite (kinda llike how a fat kid luvs cake)

not 2 repeat but any chance 4 cabs to the update, mainly the task manager notification and new tsk (menu slide 2 far right)? just so i can wait 2 flash till a major update comes along

Found out what's messing up the Task Manager shortcut in the HTC Notification Manager - custom taskbars. Chris, is there a way to remove the Task Manager from the Notification Manager? Thanks.

The icon will show blank like that if your not running the latest NotificationsRes.dll (it gets overwritten) in the windows directory. It can be turned off with the following registry edit. Custom taskbars most likely replace this dll with their own. This is how the latest HTC phones come with 6.5.x roms, so these taskbar mods might need to be reworked some.

"IsCom3Project"=dword:00000000

Its under Notifications, a quick registry search will find it.

Hi, does anyone know why the reception in any of Chris' ROMs (2.1, 2.5, and this one) is a lot better than any of the other ROMs (MightyROM 2.1, 6.5 (Full Force), Mr. X)? On the other Chefs' ROMs, I get only 2 bars at home; on Chris' ROMs, I get 4 bars! I know Chris' ROMs are designed for Sprint in mind; is there some "secret" ingredient that makes the reception better? Scratching my head...

none of the roms will effect the radio (reception) but wat you prolly are seeing is that on other roms maybe the cdma???.dll is different. like sprint has 7 bars stock and verizon/others have 5. so theres your 2 bar difference right there

Man so I flashed. And realized that there is not an X to get out of apps now?? Im flashing back. Sorry Chris but 6.5.x Beta2 was the sh*t to me. I flashed and now I gotta set it all up again.Although the menu button all the way to the right does look nice. Id rather have my X back tho.
