is there a cab to add the gps tab on sense 2.1. have not flashed yet, i m currently using your 2.5 rom. if there is no cab i am going to stick with your 2.5 rom which is really good!

Both ROM's have all sprint original software included in the "Sprint" folder. The Sprint 2.1 ROM includes the Sprint TV and Navigation Tabs. The HTC Sense 2.1 ROM does not.

Which rom is faster??? Are these faster than your 2.5 due to the fact that it runs 2.1 instead?? Also how much FREE RAM do these boot up with??? Thanks

Both versions are blazing fast :headbang: I have not checked free RAM on boot. Be sure to post if you flash!

Guess I'll post this here as well...

Will 2.1 themes that worked on WM6.1 work on either 2.1 ROM even though they are WM6.5? I'd love to get my Star Trek theme back. Since I really don't use Sense I never bothered to update the theme for 2.5. Anyone that's using a 2.1 ROM willing to try it out for me? I'd hate to flash one of the ROMs only to find out it doesn't work.

Is there a way to turn off vibration for Touch Flo? The option doesn't seem to be cooked into your rom. Registry edit would help.

Both Retro ROM's have Facebook integration built in. You can still view Facebook online album's from the Photo's & Videos Tab as well as link contacts and view status updates within Contacts. Just go to the Updates & Eevents Tab within a contact.

There should be an option to disable Touchflo vibration within the settings sub-menus in "All Settings".

oops. i meant twitter haha :D

It has the flipping clock (there's a cab to disable), and sense 2.1 does not have weather animations on the home screen - just on the weather tab

But this is a superfast ROM - should try it out! I did, going back to Chris' 2.5 though cause that twitter tab I use a lot, plus I love those quick links on the home page! :D

The new banners look great. Just a thought -- since these are retro ROMs, using a typical 60's or 70's or even 80's font might go well with the theme. But that's up to you and Chris of course...

Well, this are based on the font from the original thread of the Sprint Lover's Rom, since Chris opted this font as his style or signature for that rom, then I just create new banners keeping the same style, but to change the font is up to him. The banners I create is to show my support for Chris, since this is the first cooked rom that I liked so far =D.

Checking into it.

UPDATE: Your original issue was regarding the Settings menu in Retro HTC Sense 2.1. I confirmed that everything works fine. To enter settings, tap Start>Settings>All Settings and it will take you to the standard Windows Mobile settings page. If you still have any issues I would recommend uninstalling programs one by one to narrow down the culprit and as a last resort hard reset. Hope this solves your issue.

I love the old 6.1 better than the 6.5 ROM's but I stick to 6.5 because the BT works on those roms.

Does the 6.1 on this links BT work correctly? Or does it have the old stack issue? If it has the old stack issue I would rather keep mine the same.

Great job and I like your tweeks you have done to the new Sprint roms. Thanks for all you do.

i using retro sense 2.1 ....everything works great ...(the problem is on 2.1 regular.. without whether on home-tab)

I have been using the retro 6.1/6.5 rom you made Chris and it works great overall. The only issue I have been having is it will not allow me to add a contact in my contacts. It does everything flawlessly but when I attempt to enter a contact and click done at the bottom of my phone to save it the screen doesnt move and when I close it out and go to contacts I have a new contact named unnamed and it does not have any of the info I entered in it.

Is there a cab to fix this issue and or are you going to update these roms to correct little issues like this? I know you have a beta 6.5 x coming but I like the old none weather clock roms without HTC Sence cause the Sence slows the phone down and without it I can add weather editer and rock out my local area on the weather cab and enjoy speed and quality of this rom.

I love this rom and everything works so well but the new contacts is the only issue. Please help if you can. :)

I never recieved any feedback on the contacts issue that I posted before and I wanted to know if you just over looked my post or if you are not going to service these retro roms anylonger?

Does anyone or can anyone make a cab to correct the contacts saving to the contacts folder issue for this ROM? I dont know how to do it or I would do it myself cause I love both of these roms but if I cant save new contacts I cant use it.
