Yeah clean flash after task 29 and my phone was idle after a synch. I couldn't even respond to the first text. I soft reset and it was ok for awhile but then froze texting again. All i was doing was texting. I have never had that problem before.

Sorry about this guys, but what I see here in common is the MaxSense rom. I don't know if solarflarex is also using the Multi Carrier version as ModmyPPC. Since I use the same sms/mms ext file for MaxSense and V10 rom and we are not seeing this reported by V10 users, the problem is in MaxSense rom. I am going flash to the Max rom with Sprint SMS/MMS ext file tonight and test tonight to see if I can repeat the problem. Will keep you posted what I fine. I just got out of bed and my brain is still fuzzy and need for more coffee.

You did not do enough research then..you are not limited by Samsung widgets only..you can use Android widgets as well..and some of the Android widgets are pretty much almost 100% replication of the HTC Clock...some of which are "Fancy Widget" and "Beautiful Widgets"...

You are correct, I did more research last night so it looks like the Epic will be my next phone 31 August. So lookout Android world here I come

Ok the readt his message last night and here's what I found using the Sprint only version of MaxSense.

1. Started flashing of around 21:30, status bar stayed at 0% for 1-2 mins. Bad flash, try recovery, didn't work. Task29 then flashed again and it worked this time. Booted to white screen and the SMS patch for 15 or so seconds, got an error that SMS patch had stopped working, 1st time ever see that. Tap the ok and booted into the MaxSense home screen. Did my Win7 WDMC sync with phone and off to work I go since I owe, I owe, I owe!
2. Had several co-workers send sms and mms messages. Got the sms message quick, with 15 sec's. 1st mms didn't come thru for about 5 mins, 2-3 mins more for the 2nd mms. Tap the left icon for all messages and nothing happens. Tried several time still nothing. Did several sms message and 1 mms to self with sms coming thru quick but the mms was taking several mins. to arrive. Tap the all message icon again, still nothing. Press the hard button back key to get back to the home screen. Press and held the end key, selected restart sense. Go back to the message tab again and hit the left icon again. This time i worked and all the messages were there. Worked fine the rest of the night without problems. I am flashing again this morning to repeat what I just did to see why this happen. Will keep you posted. Thanks for the feedback.

Edit: 2nd flash this morning, so sms patch error this time on 1st boot. Did not sync phone with computer just started sending myself several sms and serveral mms messages. The phone didn't freeze of lockup, I just could get any menu's in the message tab to work. Pressed hard button back key to get to the home screen. Endkey again and soft reset. Boot back into the MaxSense home screen and tap on messages tab. All messages are there and the left all message icon works.

So please try this for me and see if it works for you.
1. Flash your phone
2. Boot into the 1st Home Screen, now XDA_UC does not always show that it running. Tap the top right taskmanger by the clock. Select to end XDA_UC, then soft reset the phone. Now send your self several message and then have a few other people send some also. See if the sms/mms message now is working. I have tried this method 3 times and it works for me. I now need you to say yes or no that it works for you. I think the problem is when XDA_UC running in the background on the 1st boot. Or the phone needs a 2nd restart after flashing. Try it and let me know.

Here's some more blue CHT alert icons to go with Suntopper's. Some will need to be renamed to the correct file name if that is the one you want to use. Just more options for the TW CHT roms.

Not in your life time or at least till my server time is up in January 2011. If all goes well with the Epic Android I will be release mods for that + the TP2. The TP2 will stay in the family (my wife) that way I can still play with it. And if more changes happen from MaxSense or CHT then you will get more updates for the TP2. Be happy, life is great!

BTW: If I thought I could get my reputation higher I would start a thread in the Sprint Diamond rom section. Have a great CHT 1.8.5 and MaxSense for that phone also. Soon I will be asking for donations, not for my roms. They will always be free, but for all the dogs, cats, foxes (not the pretty ones), birds and many more that I rescue. Most of rescue dog live very long lifes (8-13 years), outside cats not as long (5-7 years). My food bill is over $200.00 per month and don't even want to say what the vet bill is. But I do most of that myself, shots, twitching of open wounds, etc. I have at this time 10 rescue dogs, 6 outside cats, 3 foxes, 3 German Shepherd's (My loves) 3 small rescue dogs.

A picture of the love of my life! She is a greatest GS attack dog I have ever owned, she willing to take someones arm off and then come lick my face.

She is my friend, my partner, my defender, my dog. I am her life, her love, her leader. She will be mine, faithful and true, to the last beat of her heart. I owe it to her to be worthy of such devotion.
