12/22/10 Starting 12/26/10 All roms/pictures will be removed!

Been using the MaxSense 1.5.2 version (23563) for several days now and really loving it. I've tried BigMaxSense three times and had stability issues all three times, so I was a bit skeptical about trying another MaxSense based ROM.

So far, so good. No stability issues, and battery life seems as good or better than stock.

My only two (minor) annoyances are the "X" minimizing instead of closing applications and (personal taste really) the overly colorful icons/widgets.

These from Big are really more to my liking, is there any chance they would work with the TW MaxSense ROM?

Is the 1.5.3 upgrade worth the flash dance? I'm pretty happy with the phone right now, but I think I'm coming down with a case of Flash Addiction.

GO AHEAD! GET ADDICTED!

Really though, doesn't seem to be a whole lot of changes, a few graphics. And I think maybe 1.5.3 is a little bit quicker, could just be me though.

It updates the weather city database and also uses a different host for weather updates which has seems less problematic than the default.

You don't like the colorful icons/widgets.

Make the move when the addiction takes over.LOL 23563 was a very good base and 23129 appears to be as good or better. Main reason for making the switch as the 235xx series stopped being released. If you are happy with the rom then stay with it. Major changes in 1.5.3 is Wallpaper's available in document folder + a few custom widgets background, 23129 and a few added graphcis changes, glass backgrounds look better.

Also I see Bignadad was using Ameba, will install it and give it a shot for closing programs. If it works well without causing lockups or freezes I will add to next release.

It does appear to be a little faster plus reported to have better memory management.

I'm not sure BMS ever worked right for the close on "X" either. The only one I've had working "right" (to my mind) was the stock 6.5 rom with an old (6.1?) HTC Taskmanager CAB I found here on on XDA.

Why not just instal that cab with your preffered theme? Its not a crime.

Taste differs between users I personally love the color.

Nope, sorry. This is what my home screen looks like, maybe you can understand why the color is "too much". Not bad or anything, just too much for my taste.

It's ok to use Bignadad themes on this rom. If he has one you like better than go for it! Or any MaxSense Theme will work for that matter. Bignadad has a new set grey MaxSense Widgets at post #3398. Just download and install, very little there.

Very cool info, I was not aware of how "compatible" stuff might be between different custom ROMs as this is my first WM phone.

I had a BB 8350i before it and a string of Moto iDen phones before that (i90, i730, i860, etc). My head is still swimming with the amount of software and customizations these phones will handle. Don't know if you noticed, but I did manage to tweak the clock font to something more of my liking.

I just wish the digital clock could be bigger...

I've upgraded to 1.5.3 and installed Ameba. Seems to be doing what I want, thanks for the tip.

Almost forgot about the black glass icons in this post. Will work with the MaxSense rom since it only replaces the start menu icons.
