if you make such stable roms its very difficult to decide to flash to a new rom...
am back on cookie 9.8 and i am really tempted to flash MaxSense 1.5.3 Beta 23129

Testing beta v1.5.3 : 38% mem free after setup and programs installed. sms and mms working. Facebook working. I dont use twitter and footprints, maybe some else can give feedback on those 2. aol mail and im work. Theres nothing really to report at this time, your roms have been great, and i havent had any glitches even on v1.5.2, i just flashed because u asked for beta testers. I been running the rom all day. I'll give more feedback about battery life after tomorrow. Since im not finding any problems, are there any specifics you are looking for?

FYI for anyone beta testing MaxSense 1.5.3. If you are having any problems, then please do a task29. After testing for the past 18 hrs, I had to do 3 hard resets. Maybe a bad flash, but it was always with trying to use my Jawbone BT. Now that I did a task29 everything is working fine.

I always do task29, its now part of regular flashing, but that menu animation pop up is choppy, its not as smooth as 1.5.2 for some reason, i even changed the 3d config to 19 . ..any suggestions

I did a task29 before flashing, everything been working fine for the most part. I've had it freeze up on me a few times, mostly when I get an error from a bad shortcut or Total Commander froze up on me a couple times (trying to load large directories). I pull the battery cover and hit the reset button and everything goes back to normal. For the most part though, seems to be running good, I haven't had to hard reset, and been running it since yesterday afternoon (about right after the link was up ).

I flashed 1.5.3 beta yesterday. The flashing process went normally, phone, mms, and sms worked fine. After your post on the jawbone issue, I connected my Moto HT820 headset via bluetooth and it doesn't maintain the stereo audio. (the hands-free works though???) The comm manager tells me the connection failed. When I first connected, the stereo worked for about 5 seconds. The phone doesn't freeze though!

Also, when I select a picture to insert into an mms the background of the selected folder is black which doesn't play well with the black text. I think this is the same as 9.8 (don't mms much). Anyway if you could make the background (or the text) grey or something similar it would be readable. I'm not sure if this is a big issue because you can see the folder name until you select it at which point it probably doesn't matter because you're opening the folder. But it would look cleaner.

Edit: I've also noticed when I have the phone's screen turned off (or maybe it's when the screen is locked) for a substancial amount of time the favorites contact on the main screen goes back to the first in the list on the contacts (tab). this may have been reported before. Not a big deal (just reporting).

Edit2: BTW, I did not do a task 29 before flashing this time.

Yeah thats pretty good. Cant make it more shiny eh? like reflective? Maybe I should see what I can do in gimp or something hehe. Is that what you are using?

I've been testing for about the last 12 hours or so. The only issue I have is with MMS. Even after task 29, provisioning and all, I'm not able to choose the sprint settings for cdma servers. Doesn't even come up with any options to choose from, just has samplemmsc. Not like on the 1.5.2. Other than that, it's runnin like a thoroughbred on race day!!!!
