I tried all the com ports in bing but nothing worked. Big's cookie rom is a specific vzw rom so I tried it and (voila) it worked. I looked at all the settings including some registry (probably not all) and couldn't find any difference. That's when I had the brainstorm about the TW 9.2 VZW build. I flashed the special build (thanks again) and (voila again) bing finds my gps posit just fine. I'm not sure if creating a specific vzw build uses different drivers or possibly sets up the registry different. I haven't been able to isolate it yet. (Nice day here so I've been working outside!) I was thinking about going back to one of the first verizon.cab files and seeing if that would do it. I've also tried searching all the usual sites for a fix.

BTW, I had to run the tjelite file to get mms to work on the special build and it didn't have voice command installed but I had all the cabs necessary. It was set up as I normally have it when it froze this am. Not sure what the issue is but I thought I would report it.

I know this is a lot of words without much information. But I'll keep looking.
That's just weird! When I did the VZW only for you I used the cab from Calk's instead the one from tjlite version for VZW. I did leave out in this version the Windows Mobile Phone default lock. Maybe thats what's causing all the problems. Since I am using the same rom then why am I not have the problem with the freezes. I just did the manuel lock button located in the start menu. It did lock but without any fancy screen. Yesterday My phone must have been in and out lock mode 50 times. From 20:00 hrs Friday night to 17:30 (Sat) and some 20-25 calls at work. And talking with a friend for 45 mins while I did some shopping looking for laptop memory. My battery was the lowest (45%) I have ever gone without hitting the juice.

Now I need favor from you. I will do another VZW only rom again but this time I will include the WMP default lock screen. Can you see if you are still getting the freezing. I watched TV with wife from 19:30 - 22:30 and then to bed. Phone was just fine this morning @ 05:30. Try a different lock screen in CHT and let me know if the freezing is still there. Time for my paying job. Enjoy your Sunday!

BTW: When I run Bing the 1st time I get the message "This program was not designed for your phone, but should work just the fine" or something like that. Do you get any warning when you run Bing?
