There was one day after a flash where the battery was down on mine to 50% by lunch with it just sitting there (no phone calls, screen off, etc.). After a soft reset and a new charge it was back to normal. I usually have 20-30% left at the end of the day (althogh some days I run it all the way down). Not many phone calls or texts but maybe an hour of web surfing/video streaming. I can't really compare the latest because I bought a new battery and it seems to hold a charge much better.
