You have to install a 4 row cab. Thought it make the icons to small.

I've tried them both in previous timberwolf roms and honestly, I can't tell the difference. The reason jstine (if I may speak for you) includes both is he thought 23554 was more stable (better battery life, etc.) but 28232 was compatable with a program that (oh no, I forgot ) someone needed (that's just the kind of guy he is!). If jstine decides that 28232 is stable and fine, then he will probably only use the 28232 build.

No staying with 23554 for base rom. The 28232 is for hunter773, I still need more time with it on my phone.

My poor phone sure did get a workout this week. I must have flashed 40 or more times getting the organized menus and the new graphics.

New Roms uploading, see 1st post.

I fixed the Facebook and E-Reader so they both show thanks to ICE.

Going to watch some TV and eat. Will check back once the roms are uploaded and checked for errors.

OK, I'm just sitting around waiting for the roms to load and I'm noticing my Dell x50v sitting so lonely in it's cradle (not even plugged in). And I'm wondering how many of us got into the winmo world from PDAs. And how many said, "I'll never get a smartphone because that's just to many things that could go wrong." Well I've come a long way since then! First a vogue, then learning to unlock and flash (what an addiction). Then tp2 and I'm back to a vga screen. (a wide one at that).

Maybe it's time to box up the x50v and put it on ebay . No, I'm not advertising, I'm just wasting time!

Edit: come to think of it, I first started flashing with the x50v!

213554 good to go, downloaded, extracted and ran the upgrade utility (until I got the read version screen)

28232 downloaded without errror. I'll edit post when I extract it, and try the utility.

Edit: extracted fine, only thing is when the utility read the version in the directory it was "2.0.00.00" vice Timberwolf_V6-1. Again, I canceled at this point.

Thanks Suntopper, saved a load of time. I guess to forgot to set the 2.0 to V6.1, but it's ok it's just a name.
