Hello I am having major battery drain issues with this rom almost 10% in less then 20 min i have seen that some prl's may cause the issue? I have 60660 is there any known issues with this one? I have noticed that this rom is not the only one that has poor battery life but i do not understand why some people do not have these issues when we have the same phones Thanks for any insight you may have! I love the look and feel of this rom i am a heavy user and wish the phone could keep up...lol

" i am a heavy user " You hit the nail on the head. Your mpg's will vary depending on several things. What programs you post flash install. Some will run in the background using you battery without you thinking or knowing about it. How bright you like your screen level. If you use it as a phone, mpg is great. Heavy data traffic will get about 1.5 mins for 1% of battery used. Battery life on this rom is no better or worst. Each user will get different results.

Two things you can do:
1) Use a registry editor to set the 07FF key of
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9\IME\Keyboard LayouFiles] to "eT9.Rhodium.VERIZON_WWE.kmap.txt" and soft reset. This will set your keyboard mapping correctly.

2) Run the attached provisioning file (after the you do the vzw provisioning after the first soft reset). It will not only setup the keyboard but also put the option in buttons for your keyboard's "favorite" key and set up the VZW default ringtone (among dozens of other things you will proabably never use/miss) All credit to MightyMike as I pulled it from his thread a long time ago!

It's good to see more vzw users trying this out! It's well worth the effort.

Edit: I'm not sure if it's an issue before running the MightyMike provisioning file but when I send myself a MMS, I can't access it by tapping on the screen in the messaging tab. I have to hit the "all messages" soft key on the bottom (or hit view in options when the notification is on the bottom when it first comes in). I so seldom get mms (or sms for that matter) that I forgot to test it when I downloaded the rom.

im on verizon i ran the provisioning twice for verizon and on generic but cant seem to get the fn keys mapped right, am i doing something wron is there a keyboard cab fix for this thanks in advance

I just noticed there's no list of included programs in the thread (or am I blind). I know you said something about a user config process but I can't remember which one it is (there are so many now).

No it's not there. If you were blind I don't why you would be using this rom! LOL

I've been so busy trying to get a phone canvas skinned that I just have not had the time to post a log. Will try to post it today or tomorrow. Working with 2 different kitchens, 1 for the Sprint only, which by the way is rock solid, the only changes I plan on is the dialer. And then building in another kitchen for the All Carrier version that looks, feels and is rock solid as been many headaches. But I'm getting there, so no new posting of roms till I get everything finished. The next release will have 5 different custom themes inthe same rom. No more installing this and that cab to get the blue, red, purple, black or green.

Your roms are great. Very smooth, fast and stable. I have been trying alot of different roms and I finally found one I am sticking with. Good work and much appreciated.

New dialer finished, working on having 5 different themes in one rom. When finished with that for the Sprint rom I will post that and then start on a the All Carrier version. Thanks for checking in.
