So I thought, what the hey, I can give a try and if it has issues I can always flash back from the storage card. Anyway, 40 minutes to download! Sure glad I have cable!

Here's the process: flash; select verizon provisioning; reset; allow XDA_UC; reset; import cookie settings; reset; restore using myphone; reset

1) verizon provisioning runs Calk's verizon cab (vice the ST modified tjelite version)
* phone, sms works;
* mms does not (no surprise, need to install tjelite I'm guessing)
* Keyboard provisioned correctly
* no option for programming favorites button (in setup/personal/buttons)
* I tried installing the ST mod Tjelite file but the install was unsuccessful
* I tried installin the tjelite mms file and again the install was unsuccessful
* Normally when I get this I just do a soft reset and it works. This time no go! I'll reflash later and see if I can tell what the issue is?

2) When I went into file explorer to run ST mod tjelite it took a while (20 sec?) for the storage card to be read. File explorer was kind of slow on v10 as well. Not sure what's going on but I'll keep an eye on it!

3) Not sure about this one yet, but when I turn the screen off and back on I get the home tab (actually it's whatever was on the screen when I turned it off) with an "unlock" on the left softkey. It works though! (I have enable cht lockscreen and lock on standby enabled in CHT editor.

4) Confirm issues with caller ID. When I call the ID picture is blank. It's also mis-identified in call history (in the dialer). e.g. I called home and the history says it's the ID to get my minutes status but the number is correct?

5) No problem receiving email, but I have a cab that provisions my email directly in my XDA_UC folder.

Got to run but I'll check back later (after I retore factory settings or reflash)!

Seemed to fix a lot of the issues. I installed the ST mod tjelite file and mms now works.
I still have the "new look" lock screen. File explorer performance has picked up though.
Still have issues with caller ID. And the beat goes on...

Edit2: Been playing with the lock screen thing. No answers but here's what I've found.
1) when I go into "edit lockscreen" from CHT I get to edit the old lockscreen (like before)
2) I've checked the WM lockscreen settings in both settings and the manilla security tabs (not selected)
3) I've tried switching to different lockscreens in CHT editor
4) tried leaving it alone for 5 minutes before turning back on
All this and the same thing. The new lockscreen is basically the screen you were on with an "unlock" softkey on the left????

Ok lets assume that I correct all of the problems listed (And I can, already did most. Didn't see the caller ID problem till reported). Is this build (2016 worth keeping vs 2016? Build 2018 may never have the tabs 2016 did. The question is; is this a faster manila? If and when I leave the TP2 and the question is when, more than if. I want to leave you with the best possible rom I can.

I don't know how to answer that... I only ran it for a few hours... so I didn't give it much of a run. It seemed fast, but I don't know if it was much different than 2016. I'll just say I didn't notice a dramatic improvement.

I must say, I hate see that you're moving on, but I think this phone, the roms and developement have just about peaked out. You (and the other Brainiacs) have done all you can with this project.

For sure about the World of Droid. I don't see very many making the move to windows mobile 7. Remember I will still be around since my wife will have the phone and if I see something great come out (Like MaxSense 1.6 with Landscape support). You can be sure I will cook it. For Sense 2.5 I don't see anything better than V10. Except that I get the internet quicklinks, text email all working. Going to give that a shot this week.

what tabs are you referring to? If its the useless tabs like ereader & footprints its much more useful to have working internet quicklinks. This internet quicklinks actually bothers me very much!

do I remeber correctly when you said that Text messaging still doesnt update correctly in 2018? its really no big deal.

I would be happy with 2018 for sense2.5 titanium and maxsense.

Correct, no ereader, recent doc, fb, twitter, footprint tabs.
Yes the internet quicklink capture now works.
Yes the text message and email tabs will auto refresh without moving to another tab then back.

What is not working is caller ID and sense restart from endkey program.

TW, LIke the rest I"ve really can't benchmark the speed but it feels faster. Of course, a new Pinto feel fast because it's new! (for all you youngsters out there the Pinto was a small car back in the day, and a horse before that!)

When, I press and hold the end key I get the quick menu (like it). Are you talking about restarting sense from the quick menu? It seems to take longer for a reset but it's probably because we don't have that white screen to break up the time.

If you could get the caller ID working (seems like a repeat of a previous issue that you fixed), I could definately live with this. Still wondering what's happening with the locksreen but it works for it's purpose.

And when I said I had 59 revs of your work archived I did actually count them. Now it's up to 62 (but that's a guess)

Edit: I installed lockdevice and the same lockscreen still comes up! It's not like it's riding on top (have to unlock two screens) but it just interprets any lock command as the previous screen with the lock softkey. I had a pnp connection notification pop up, and I was trying to go to my internet tab to see if I could connect. I thought my phone was froze until I saw the unlock button! LOL
