12/22/10 Starting 12/26/10 All roms/pictures will be removed!

Quick noobe question - flashed V9.6.1 and seems all good. Would like to get the purple curtain/swoosh theme look that is on the home page. I did install the purple theme cab and that only charged the bottom soft keys to purple. What am I missing?

Edit - the purple swoosh/curtain is on the start menu backround - but not the home page, or any other page.

ya i cant figure that 1 out either. ive searchd and searchd for the purple swoosh, but found none other than start menu

I assume you mean my "curtain/swoosh theme" you talking about the background picture on the home and all tabs. There is more being installed in any theme than just the bottom softkey button. Menu Selection bar, checkboxes, Phone Dialer Canvas, TSK are all changed with you install a new theme. If you did not a soft reset after installing any theme, then please do so. 2nd when you 1st flash the phone you get the default black theme with pictures and checkboxes already selected. When you install one of the colored themes you have select the picture you want under the Home tab, Menu, Wallpaper. You can fine all the pictures used in the different theme in 1 file I think in post 2 or 3 of 1st page. DL and save to SDcard for the future changes in themes. The TSK file installed by the theme cab only controls the startmenu background. In older versions like 6.1, 6.5, before we starting using CHT and programs the TSK file would set the background pictures. Not anymore, now you have to select what picture you want with each theme install. I only did that for the flash theme. Now it's up to you select your own pictures. I have provided you with the default pcitures used in the themes, But you can use any picture you want. 480x800 or portrait and 800x480 for landscape. I hope this helps in what question you were asking.

Edit: One more thing, CHT does not change the picture immediately after selection. You must either restart sense or do a soft reset to see effect.

"News Flash"

Now have everything (except internet search bar) working 100%. Facebook tab will update, all tabs working as should be. I have corrected all items that were report has having a problem with. Will be posting roms with the black taskbar in place of the Dinik Glass icons. I will provide a cab for those who want the glass. They are just to hard to see with the glass on the battery icons.

Waiting from vin about a new VZW MR2 dialer that has bigger numbers just like the 3.40 phone canvas did but with the figures of 4.2 from Sprint. Once I have that dialer running and tested I begin to post V9.7 for all roms.

yes did reset after install, it makes u.but there is no purple swoosh/curtain. its on the startmenu but when u use cht to set it to all pages, it isnt there to pic i been thru all pics/backgrounds.

There is no picture called purple swoosh. In the background picture there are 2 pictures call "Purple 480x800 and Purple 800x480".

Also in what way do you want me to change the purple digital clock. There to many different colors used to get them all to match.

I have attached the file to this post that you need to dl and unrar to a folder called "Pictures" on you SDcard. Then use CHT to load the picture and restart sense with CHT or soft reset to see effect.

Wow, I'm a dork. I just can't find it. How do I get to "backround picture" to be able to choose "Purple 480 x 800". I can't find anything in CHT, or anywhere else.

Fairly frustrating, help a brother out!

Timber Once again your roms are the best but my only question is in the next release did you fix twitter to work with the keyboard out. The landscape doesnt work in 9.6.1 but if you didnt your roms are still the best and I cant worry about the little things thanks again

Never used twitter so never knew it didn't work. You are the 1st to report it.

New 6 Color Dinik Glass dialer's and themes on the way.

Running the new 7-2 ROM for Sprint. No issues so far. Everything running smooth and fast for the past 24 hours. Good work as usual!
