I'm hoping I downloaded the right rom... Using the link above.. Here goes, XDA_UC is not loading anything.. starts up, however doesn't load anything. Also, is there a cab for just the XDA_UC file...?Going to wipe the rom clean for the third time and do a fresh install. The sync back to Outlook. maybe something is hanging me up...

basically the screen cap on the cookie ql works the same way as the internet tab. When you go to a page via quicklink a screen cap is taken and takes the place of the quicklink icon so you can see the page (at that point in time) vice the generic globe. I think it has worked on all versions of TW cookie roms. So to recap the internet tab correctly captures but the cookie shortcut doesn't. In fact, I went to a page using the cookie shortcut and the screen cap did not work but when I went into the internet tab and set up a favorite for that page the screen cap showed up immediately (didn't even have to open the browser). So it seems like it is capturing the image, just not displaying it. This was last night so I might need to check it out again (remember CRS!)

Edit: confirmed, the screen cap is done but it doesn't show up on the cookie ql. When I create the same ql in the internet tab the screen cap shows up immediately (without going into the browser).

Also, I haven't had the correct wallpaper after a flash since maxmanilla (I think). I've always just set the wallpaper after using either the home tab menu or sense settings. It's not a big deal once I find the correct graphic in the \windows directory. Just thought I'd let you know in case I'm not the only one.

Will see what I can find, I don't understand why it would work before and not now. I didn't change anything in the CHT 1.8.5 ext package. Just copy the file over to the new kitchen (Almost the same kitchen, just built from scratch).

Since V9.5.1 I have CHT 1.8.5 to set a default picture at flash. Was red2.jpg until I changed to the black theme as default theme on flash. The default picture is dark, maybe you just didn't see post flash install.
Why did I change to black? Read a poll that 67% of users want black to start with and they will add their own theme later.

Question to all: Are you seeing on the home + all tabs the same picture as what is in the start menu background?

Did you create a directory called "XDA_UC" on your SDcard? Copy any cabs and reg tweaks to that folder you want installed during a new flash.

Here is the screen cap if I did it right. This is the first time I have tried to do this. Anyway, if you look at the pic call work looks fine when it is selected but all other numbers and options are too dark to see. The "add more numbers" and "add more e-mail/im" are the examples I am talking about. If there where other numbers they would be too dark to see too. Hope this helps.

One thing I know for sure, after writing computer programs (Fun only) for the past 30 years since the DOS days. There will always be a problem hidden somewhere's, may not show up for years. I several (10) programs that I designed 10 years ago (saves the hospital thousands of hours in time. And you
Joe Tax Payer in money) and still used at the hospital I work at (Not my primary job). Only 6 months ago did a problem popup.

Edit: 12 years since the 1st program, not 10 years.

Yep... its there and been using it on the other updates... maybe I'm just expecting it to load the files sooner... did notice in the past the the phone with vibrate everytime something would load and I could see the start flash in the top left of the screen.. now I may see only one flash.. XDA never tells me its finish and to reset.. Wait for about an half hour and I see no files or reg's as being updated... I'm now re-flashed and going to do a complete clean install... Now I did notice on my weather program,I can't use it due to the new manila. will play around and see what I can find! overall its working....
