PPCGeeks - 12/22/10 Starting 12/26/10 All roms/pictures will be removed!

Came here to post a question to all Sprint Only user's
1. Thanks I had not notice, but will remove in the next release (and I assume you mean All Carrier 9.5 since you do not want TV&Nav available in your Sprint rom)
2. Reason why I am posting. I almost finished with a rom for Sprint Only.
A. New manila core 1324
B. All Tabs (Facebook, TV, Nav, E-Reader, Rec. Docs) all working.
C. New Xip & Sys, build 23123.
D. 10mb limit for sms/mms. Now you can send large video files by mms attachment.

Now the question, do you want to try it as a beta? I am also working on 2015 manila. Or do you want to wait till I have 2015 working?

Would not mind testing it as a beta! Would love to go back to my Sprint Rom. All Carrier is working fine for me but do miss my sprint nav and TV cooked in. Just say the word Timber! Im also hoping that my bluetooth will work on this new sprint rom(plantronics 220). Dont need reader or docs. Never used them. I'll cross my fingers and toes!!!

Well I have good news! After spending the 12 hours with rom at work. It did has well as the Sprint 23562 that I think so much of. All the features of both roms are now rolled into one. So my rom called "Sprint Only" will be now called "The Only Sprint Rom". I will post it as a beta but I think you will find it to be as good or better. And no, there no new toys in this rom. It will look and act the same as what you already have. It is worth the flash, maybe not. Then why flash? 1. 10mb SMS/MMS sending limit, where is was set at 300kb max. before. 2. I think a more stable manila, new xip that is going to continue with development in 23xxx series. Where 235xx may stop or has stopped already. You know I have never had but one time any problems with 1.8.5 lock screen and my phone is off and on 50 times during my work shift. It hard to fix a problem you never see! I like using my personal cell vs my work cell. Good way to test the rom!

Jaybell seems to have a fix for it, Never tested it though.

FYI: On V9.5 you fixed the text auto load on the Text Message tab, I didn't see you mention it anywhere.

Here is the 23123 V9.6 Beta rom. Please only DL if you understand this is a beta. For 20hrs yesterday and today the rom did as well as the Sprint Only V9.5. Everything is working that I know of. But who knows what is buried inside that will cause problems. That's why this is posted as a beta. The default boot theme is Black with colored glass icons. You may use any of my mods to change the theme. When giving feedback please state what version rom you are have problems. And give detailed information what the problem is and when, where it happen. Like I said before, I feel this rom is as good or better than the Sprint V9.5. So please treat the rom as a redheaded stepchild and do everthing you can to it. But remember this is a beta. Best Wished, kick the tires and light the fire. Give her all she's got Scottie, lets see what is out there!

Edit: DO NOT report about the version # you will see during the flash process, yes I know I did not set that. Also the version # is wrong in the about device info screen. This is a 23123 V9.6 Beta rom dated 6/25/10. Thanks

Edit 3: Manila 2016 is underway and I will have beta test rom ready for you FA's in a day or two just to you addiction going.

Now you do know when I get home today, settle in a bit, fix me a good drink, I'm going to download this beta and loaded up as I always do, to really test the memory... This last version of sprint only 9.5.5 is rock solid. I'm pushing over 200 text and 40-60 emails a day.. plus appointments...and other events, plus internet!!! And you know I have a few simple questions that I don't feel like searching for...hehe
