PPCGeeks - 12/22/10 Starting 12/26/10 All roms/pictures will be removed!

The problem with the contact chooser being too dark is in your default theme (TW Black) somewhere. If I change to Dusk it is white background with black writing and with classic blue it is gray button with black writing. Pics attached.

Had this problem with the TSK file for a long time. Thanks rebelshadow, now I know where to import the long string of numbers that are required to control different colors for text and background thru out the rom. This problem will be with any theme installed, with the exception of build-in Dusk theme.

been on 9.6 about 13 hrs, so far not a hicup. no lag no freeze not even the morning black screen freeze. just 1 question did u change the top bar. when i click on it i dont get drop down menu nemore it goes to the black screen. but other than htat i tried to get it to freeze had skyfire, opera mini, saturn liberty, bing and a few other and couldnt get it to freeze. havent tried the part about bein in text chat, gettin a call then freeze,thats where 9.5 would freeze.

What I believe sunstopper is talking about is this the screen capture doesn't load and assign itself to the quicklink.

Look at the ppc quicklink and facebook. When you open up the internet tab and select a favorite after you load the page and exit opera it should save a picture so when you move to the internet tab again you will see a screen capture.

TRY THIS:

First set the internet favorite in your internet tab quicklink. Let it make a screen capture for the internet tab/quicklink then assign the CHT quicklink see if it loads then.

Does that work?

EDIT: Just read your post where you did this.

As for my findings.

First I set it as a quicklink in the internet tab. It created the screen captures. Then I hit the CHT quicklink. It shows.

Went to the internet tab removed the quicklinks and SR. Then I went to CHT quicklinks and the shortcuts still show.

I just created a shortcut that I never opened under the internet tab and used CHT bookmark accessed the site and it created a screen capture by itself.

So it works on V9.5

Im trying to get your red theme working on the sense screen. I got the red them working when it boots before sense runs but once sense is running the red theme is gone its only there when i goto the settings or program menu. How do i get it working with sense.

found a problem :banghead:. i have no volume i have it set to loudest ring and u can barley hear it. wat happend nvr had this problem before. jstine i need ur help. and yes i did flash dance clear storage, stock, clear storage, 9.6 clear storage. and still sound is so low.

Okaaaay,... Been playing with this Badass Rom all day today at work and it has been mostly flawless. Only two small issues I came up with, Volume is lower than expected and serious battery drain. I fully charged it and made 5 phone calls (no more than 5 minutes each), sent several texts, surfed the web for 10 minutes, checked my e-mail. At 100 percent to start and 5 hours later down to 30 percent! not sure if thats normal but thats what I got. Everything else works beautiful!:-$

I too have noticed lower than normal volume. Didn't notice initially 'cause I was making most of the calls but with incoming calls it is definitely lower than normal. Can't comment on the battery yet. It's been on the charger most of the day syncing data and appointments.

For the speed part, I think the slow down is do to using Sprint SMS/MMS with 10mb limit. I would rather stay with this and not go back to Arcsoft MMS. Yes it's quicker but has only 300kb limit. There are reg tweaks to change that. But they never worked for me.

Also the SMS/MMS and Email do not always show the new message till you move 1 tab to the left or right and then back to text or email tab. Don't know why or when this started. Minor problem to correct at sometime or another.

T-Wolf, I'm having the same issues.. can read text and emails one at a time, however can't get the either one to open up to allow reading of the complete text or email. When taping on the screen I can see action, however nothing ever happens. This is coming from a clean install. I didn't carry anything over, clean, flash, hardreset, flash again... I will delete gmail account and see what happens.
Deleted my gmail account and reboot. Now I can open both text and outlook to the inbox. Will reinstall gmail and see what happens.

Well I re-install gmail, reboot and now I can get into the inbox with both text and email... as a note, I install gmail through utilities, Mail Setup... Going forward with installing some of my old files....
