Sprint rom V7,

Just a few notes

1. I think the icons in the start menu are too large. I know this is what the stock sprint rom looks like but I personally like your older roms (having smaller icons) It allows me to search much faster without needing to scroll so much.

After using it for a few days it got alittle annoying.

2. I know the I.E. explorer was brought up before but I dont like it either it seems really slow and lags alot. Even in your older roms where you use Opera 10 I always installed Opera 9.7. Because I think it was a good mix from speed and the zoom is what I really look for. Also In Opera 10 It wont let you open up some sites for some strange reason it redirects you to a mobile version and when you want the full version it wont load.

If you could make 9.7 the default browser I think you would seriously :headbang:

4. I did notice that you hade Media player in there which you dont have in your V6.2 sprint rom which I thought was a plus, but a simple search for the cab could solve this.

5. I was really hoping that this rom would have your contact quick links and Opera quick links in the Dusk theme.

6. I noticed it didn't have a facebook tab. Not that I used it but there was about 20+ posts on your last thread requesting it I would think you would keep it in. Personally I dont use it.

Other then that the rom performs very well. I didn't get 1 lock up! However, I dont think its faster or more responsive then your previous version.

Here's several cabs to make the start menu with more icons per row. You better have very good eyes to use row 5 or 6 ! LOL:twisted:

The facebook or e-reader tab doesn't with this version of Sprint rom. Or I haven't tried very hard.

Jstine, so far this Special Sprint rom is very smooth, fast and stable with no hesitation or freezes. I thank you once again for a job well done. No complaints from me about any problems however I can't find PIM backup, very vital to me as I use it faithfully to restore my phone whenever I flash. Can you tell me where it is or if it's not on here, tell me how to download it onto phone. Thanks a billion!!!!!!!!!!

Also jstine, I think the Special Sprint rom is better than V6.2 23554 in the fact that it is way smoother and responsive. Would like to see Internet Explorer not be the default and if possible put facebook on there.

Getting ready to start work on V7 for other carrier's in a new kitchen. Maybe some newer and higher builds up coming for all carrier rom.

Can anyone confirm that is using the beta rom with the battery monitor how much is your discharge current?

Mine is roughly always around from 350 to 500 mA. I wonder if it is something I installed that may have caused this.
