Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

I don't know excatly why anyone would want to flash from the SD card unless you have to because you have to take the cover off every time. That will wear it out and become loose over time. Just my 2 cents.

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

This one is 4. I had a 16 SanDisk and it stopped working. I think I might have seen something about that too becasue I keep meaning to test my 16 in my old TP because I flashed like a crazy person with that one.

So the TP2 is more sensetive to the type of card? If so are there any known working 16 because I need to buy another. I travel a lot and I flash for something to do but I always need to have a stable one handy in case I am on the run and the one I am using flakes out.

I never take the cover off when I flash from the card. I move all the data back and forth via usb then when I need to flash all the ROMs I use are on the root. I change the file extensions so I only have one nbh and if I want to move to another ROM away from my PC, say in another country waiting on a plane, I just change the extension on the one I want to use an voila, new ROM. Works well with Radios too in the event you are say, in a rainforest and can't get a signal. saved my butt many times in El Yunque PR.

Ok maybe I should also state that since I moved from the TP to the TP2, I drilled an ever so small hole over the reset button on the cover so I can reset to bootloader without removing the cover. I realized what you meant after I posted. I have also seen some carriers have the reset button on the outside.

Ya I was going to drill a hole too, just never got to it. Actually if you just take a small bit and turn it with your fingers you can "drill" threw it. I wasn't actually going to get the hammer drill out and really DRILL it. LOL

Well I know the Single Volume, I use it myself:

HKLM\Software\HTC\VolumeOverlay\SimpleMode
Make value "1"

I'll have to look around for the Quiet Ring.
