Look and see if you have a position fix app running... this WILL make this happen!!!

AmeBa does not cause these symptoms... one of the reasons I use it in my TP2 and Imagio ROMs...

Yep...I have that running. Don't I need that to push up certain programs??

It's a royal pain. Avast doesnt like something.

the newest avast update doesn't like the total commander ext folder. I just deleted since I don't use total commander anyways. I also sent a copy of the file to avast and told them it was probably a false positive so hopefully they'll look into it.
So for those of you using avast but not having the problem, don't update to the newest avast until they look into this.

Same thing, only found in the phonecanvas 3.40 folder. No where else. Any other ideas?

Here ya go...

When editiong the reg file you will see that I have the following settings...

Short tap on Win Logo = start menu
Long tap on Win Logo = xdaShutdown

Short tap on "X" = minimize app
Long tap on "X" = close app

I quit using it a while back. Most all my apps align correctly without it!

for those of interest, i have updated the sys/rom link on the first post with 21901, 23644, 23563, and 23114. all thanks to welrope.. just extract in the home folder and they will put themselves in place.

so i tried this reg edit, and only in my 6.5.x build, i am not able to compose or read any messages... in my 21901 builds (6.5) i have no problem at all opening emails or composing stuff....

the only differences in my builds is the sys.... :scratch:

your not by chance deselecting webview in the sys are you?

i had that problem for a while and started adding everything back in the sys that i usually stripped and when i stuck webview in my email started working.
