Does anyone know where I can find some other GTX style analog clocks that work with this rom? Ive been lookn for 2 days and have only found 2 other gtx style clock.

I'm going to assume that the reason this thread is so quiet, is beacuse this XYC GTX ROM is almost perfect.

XYC, I wanted to say that this is one of the best ROMs I've used and esp on the GTX side, this ROM is stunning.

Thanks for all your hard work, making this ROM superior to all other GTX ROMS!

You are correct. I'm actually getting ready to flash back to it myself becuase it does run SO DAMN FLAWLESS! Keep an eye out for the next update, I'll be adding in the keyboard, WMP skin, and a GTX supplement package that skins stuff that the original team left out, as well as upgrading the SYS to 23121 which run FAST AS HELL! Keep an eye out as GTX is quickly becoming my favorite ROM.

YouTube links(twitter, email, m.youtube.com) won't open in the player even after installing YouTubeLinksCabv2(http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=125307).

Does anyone know how to get YouTube links to launch in the player instead of the browser(they don't seem to play in Opera anyway) on XYC GTX?

I am loving this rom as well. Only came accross one issue after a couple days. I can't access the net by the Internet slider tab. When I push it, the screeen fickers but doesn't open. I assume that the browzer is Opera. Tried soft reseting a few times with no luck.

Strange thing is, when I access the net via the "Internet Explorer" key, it opens and runs fine. Any ideas?

That is odd, I ran this ROM for over a week and never had any trouble launching Opera from the internet tab. :scratch:

I have been running this rom since the release date and have not had any problems with the internet tab. Sounds like a bad flash. Try doing a hard rest.

I ran this ROM for quite some time and never ha that issue either. I would reccomend a HR just to make sure as well.

Is MMS working on the newest XYC GTX?

I received 2 pics but couldn't actually see any content when going to the message. Also noticed that picture mail is missing as a choice when sending.

Do I need to install something to get it to work? Thanks.


Forgot to mention I am on Sprint. Is there a cab to get Sprint MMS working?

I used the VZW MMS cab from the first post and its been working for me. I cant say it is or is not for other carriers because im on VZW.

A couple of my finishing touchs. The manila file fixes the icon alinment on the personalize tabs screen. The other is from el condor. It is his notification gtx theme that looks really good on this rom.

This one puts the white background behind the clock. With the white background on the clock it is easier to see the clock numbers with dark wallpapers.

Just delete the .zip from the end of the attached manila file and put in the windows folder and soft reset.

XYC I wanted to ask you if the SPB mobile shell file in the my device/programs file needs or should be there since mobile shell isnt on this rom? I deleted the file and freed up somme space.

umm..I believe that is for the SPB screen shot program. Nevermind, that is a secret that he must have forgot about the beta team played with that a few weeks ago. Hmmmm.....I don't know if I can say anything:mrgreen:

Yeah, there is a GTX theme on xda forums and XYC thought he would try it out. There are a few issues with it, one being a paid program and another it is not complete. Very close but not all there.
You will not see the MS files there anymore.

...Maaaayyybbeeee! I am running the beta and everything is working smoothly. I did have to set my data up on USCC with my MSID in the password, I know others were just using their phone number in the top spot. Everything else is running smooth.

ps. opera 10 doesn't work on metropcs. I always use opera 9.7...

Looks nice ... is there any way to get the little cross-hair icon for location setting on (CDMA Settings) to display in the phone canvas / dialer ?

I ask, because the screen-shot on OP doesn't display the icon.

Yup I think im all set with this one. I've only needed to install 2 things to get it where i wanted it. That is impressive. Everything looks and acts the way a rom should be. Great job!

The battery life is good. I use my phone a lot plus txt,internet and my gmail updates every hour. I am very impressed with the over all performance of this rom.
