Ok Im not on this build currently as I am running a beta build for XYC so kinda shootin from the hip here.

Arkswitch is not needed because the ROM is equipped with Quick menu, which is similar to Arkswitch only does more. HTC notify I thought was in the ROM so I can not ansewr that one. Go into your start menu/tools to find Quickmenu and activate it for it to be hidden in the top Left hand corner in TB. Try that till XYC can chime inon the Why factors.

yes that way you can set your wallpaper of choice,when it was being cooked in it was breaking the bg4all and the ability to set a wallpaper at all,so this way users can choose their own since many of us change the wallpapers from what the default background is

this was done for user ease of modding the homescreen and mostly to kill some bug questions i assume

Here is my little contribution to the thread. See screenies.

1st cab fixes the clock background to match the other icons on the taskbar.
2nd cab skins the softkeybar, adds dusk buttons, dusk slider, and skins retractable button.

I take no credit for creating the dusk icons...

on the GTX rom, how do you get the "ok" and "start" buttons back at the bottom? Having to hit the hard arrow key gets old

I am patently awaiting the new GTX for 1.8.5. There have been alot of new items made for GTX since my last release including a skin for the HTC keyboard and more. This ROM is not dead by any means and I look forward to working on it again in the near future.

i click on the link for your gtx rom but get directory empty messege. Is the rom pulled?

Hotfile deleted ALL the files in my account. All the folders are still there, but they are empty. Will re-up the 5/3 GTX to Mega if I still have it.:angry7:

Dude this thing has been all but done for a week at least......Well other than those pesky Start menu folders that are tedious work. BUT for all other things concerned......this ROM is the chit. The Beta is fab. and the ROM when released will only be better. XYC and crew have been busting their balls to skin the ROM all out and the work is well worth it.........I realy need to contribute more than telling XYC it is bad ass or I may get ousted.....lol.......

Today.....Tonight......Tommorow.....WHENEVER it will be worth it.

I want to set something perfectly straight: These ROMs required a HELL of a lot of work to put together. ALOT of stuf had to be CUSTOM made. I started cooking because I didn't like the fact that NRG dropped Dusk and I really didn't like his battery life. If you don't like my ROM's, go get your own kitchen. DO NOT ASK ME TO SHARE MINE!
I will Flame you like no other if you do...Seriously...I never even thought to ASK NRG, Bignadad, VIN, or anybody else to share their kitchen. If they wanted to share it, they would have posted it!

The idea of GTX is to maintain the whole HTC white look. The factory dialer is PURE GTX as it is what GTX is based off of. Also, I kept the old dialer because the new version dialer (such as the one I put in Anastasia) doesn't allow for the in-call recorder to fucntion properly.

EDIT: Quick pagepool question....if I don't really multitask often (very rarely, if at all), should I change the pagepool for better performance???? (I ask this due to pagepool being included in the zip folder)

I set the pagepool by default at 16. I multi-task alot and it seems like the right setting for me. I've tried several settings and 16 seems to be the magic number for all my ROMs. I include the pagepool changer because I like to give the user the freedom to change it if they like. If you find a pagepool that works better, I would love to hear about it. Always looking for ways to improve.:mrgreen:

Great ROM! I really love all the details.

NRG has a really sweet GTX Keyboard...You should add this to your ROM.

Also, the facebook tab doesn't seem to work. I hit settings to auth but the settings page never opens.

If the settings is not opening up from the FB tab go into total commander and select programs then FacebookUtil and then the .exe in the folder and it will open the settings for it.

good ish dash! just so folks know, when you run carrier provisioning those blue bubble buttons at the bottom change to GTX themed buttons!
