@phillyxx I love your avatar. keep it up. i tried this rom 2 weeks ago. really reminded me of 7ppc rom for the look and feel. when maxsense does comes out, all the cooks will put it in their rom so no big issue as to when this will be released. as for the rom, its just another rom. i am sure it will have awesome look, but i encourage BIG to keep publishing his taskbars and mods seperately that he is working with to put in other roms. data and SMS works flawlessly if you use a Sprint version ROM. to get MMS working, see a few posts back, I shared a cab file that fixes the MMS. :)

I agree I was waiting for it to come out, but I lost my phone and just got another TP2 so while it's empty I'd love to beta if you want anyone else.

Great ROM BIG,
I have the same problem. I went from stock ROM and hard rest after flashing.
It would last for about 3 or 4 hrs and freez, no cab's installed. I hit the soft rest button and would loose everything on my phone. Im on Sprint.
Oh, I also did the flash dance ( reflashing multiple times ) did not work.
Im waiting for your update this week to give it another go.

I am amazed at how fast your 23xxx is! But to give it a real test I need to load it up with my "stuff". I am very limited on time so I have come to depend on PIMBackup and XDA_UC. PIMBackup I can get around with microsoft myphone.
Any chance of getting XDA_UC? Thanks
(If the program is in there and I am just blind, call me a noob and forget about it :) )

can someone here tell me how to turn off the data connection in automatic after i closed the internet opera browser i allways have to go to connection manager to turn off the data after i log off maybe a reg edit to closed as soon as i exit the browser ????

I'm using the BigCo0kie ROM. First ROM I've flashed since going to the stock 6.5 release from Sprint. This is an awesome release. BigThanks!

There is only one small issue I have found. When editing contacts, while editing their address, I cannot use the physical keyboard for zip code. It makes the onscreen keyboard disappear on a key press like normal, but the cursor leaves the field and not able to type anything. Have to click on the zip code field again and use the onscreen keyboard. Not a big deal, just I don't like using the onscreen keyboard.

Awesome ROM! Showing my wife this one may have finally convinced her to let me flash her TP2!

big did u fix the ringer..u kno when i use to use the phone for a while for some reason. When i use to get a txs the phone didnt ring anymore

Hey Big, whats the RAM usage of this new BigCookieROM? I tried your last BigCookie ROM and was very impressed by the speed, but I'd run out of memory very easily (one tab open in Opera 10).

using arkswitch shows 90k free off soft reset... 70k free after a few hours..

Personally, i don't ever have a problem or issue with RAM usage. i usually never open arkswitch to close programs or check RAM bcos i never see the need.. device is always speedy for me and even with the original BigCo0kie ROM i was able to open a few opera tabs with no problems.. with all that said i usually do a soft reset on my phone daily. i might be installing something that requires it or changing out battery or have an issue that is solved by soft reset...
so if the problem is reliability after a few days use, i might need to do some testing on that...

but i guess my question is why would anyone not soft reset daily? it only takes a minute or so and one a day should do it.

maybe i'm looking at this all wrong :???:

I have tried the last 2 versions of your rom and they seem really fast and great. But I can't seem to use them because an app that i need for work keeps giving me an error about a system.data.sqlserverce version=3.0.3600.0. I need this app for work but would love yo use your rom....any ideas what may be missing. Using the sprint version btw.

What app are you trying to use? one designed for you company?

@ufrx - 21889 is windows 6.5 which has the start menu in the top left corner whereas 23563 is windows 6.5.x which has the start menu in the bottom left corner for a more finger friendly feel. I was unsure about the switch but love rocking 6.5.x, I also use the windows key to bring up the start menu much more now aswell. Hope that helped any other questions let us know.

They are based on different builds of the Windows Mobile operating system.
21899 is 6.5 (Has start on top)
23563 is 6.5.x (Start on bottom, larger bottom bar)

Okay, since the notifications in the taskbar are disabled that means i cannot dismiss a calendar reminder in the notification bar. :(

good point.... i thought by disabling arkswitch taskbar takeover you could click each icon on taskbar individually.... but that's not the case... not sure why but i can't access taskbar even with arkswitch disabled....

i'm looking into and hopefully will post a fix soon...

sounds crazy but if you install another taskbar like bb taskbar, it should bring back the native drop down menu. maybe it will work as a temp fix :), then maybe remove it and see if it still sticks. I may try it since I was planning on trying the new release but let me know. thanks!

i tried installing GF Bear Bonz Taskbar & my illuimated dusk taskbar and still didnt get drop down menu on taskbar. not sure where the problem is..

damn that worked before, what about added notification enhancements via cab? freeza has cab versions posted in his rom thread of his clean rom. here: http://www.freeza-inc.com/freezaROM/OEMCAB/ oh well, figured I would throw it out there. thanks Big. rom looks great.
