Have anyone experienced lag with BigCoOkie or BigMaxManila roms, I've tried all of them and I've found some issues withlag when I scroll the screen. It seems to hang on for awhile before I can continue scrolling.

Hey, thanks for the ROM building. I really like it! Quick question, any known way to remove the "no-sim" icon? Its covering the signal bar at the moment which is slightly annoying. :-)

I switched over to your 21899 Co0kie build (just never can get used to the look of 6.5.x) and gotta say it is great stuff.

Also, I think you Post 1-4 is probably the best laid out of any of the ROMs on this forum. Great screen shots and WOW graphics. You are quickly cementing yourself as one of the best chefs out there.

WOW BignAdAd Just flashed your Cookie rom last night. 1st time ever and went straight to 6.5.X 23***. Its a very impressive rom. I was surprised I did not know of your rom. I was pretty blown away by its speed and extra ram. Very nice, and user friendly, great work here.

i would guess to choose analog clock 2, hide shortcuts if they are empty, then just place the clock in middle of shortcuts and add the ones around it..

from home screen just choose menu...edit home layout... from there you can move things where you want them.. click advanced to change clock type...

to hide empty shortcuts just choose menu from home screen...cookie home tab editor... in there you will see the options you are looking for

90% BIGCookie :mrgreen: 10% add on's,almost everything you need is already there!! here are links to the taskbar and the clock and attached is the colored notifications,i would remove everything off the home screen via home screen layout and just come up with something thats unique and yet useful at the same time,if you want the exact setup shoot me a pm so we don't clutter up Big's thread with post after post in case there are any issues :)

add 3 rows quicklinks

add clock and drag to position

set quicklinks

using cht editor after desired setup just enable removed unassigned quick links and your all set

hey big i been using the big cookie rom 6.5.x n its amazing the only 2 things so far that r not good g alarm dnt work .. and when i use the phone to much or idk if its because im using to much. I cant hear the ringer anymore n the volume its set to high .. when i get a txt the phone just turns on but the phone dnt ring. I had to soft reset so it can work but after a few min it did it again..

any help here please

well i dont have trouble with sms, i keep having a problem with mms, i have tried several fixes but none of them work. im on boost mobile, i can recieve mms but i cant send with the particular arcsoft you use. only 1 arcsoft i found works to send and recieve.

In all honesty, I just use the Sprint version and the BoostMMSfix.cab file and all is good.

The only catch w/ the boostmmsfix.cab and the stock sprint ROM is a message pops up wanting to interrupt a connection to send/receive. with the cooked ROMs it has been a non-issue for me. YMMV

but that's just my opinion if anyone was wondering LOL. :)

Ok, I've been watching this thread since the hour it was posted (because I am extremely excited for max sense), so i figured I would try BigCo0kie. For the fist couple hours of use it was fantastic, probably the fastest cookie i have ever used.

but, i woke up this morning and right away had a completely different experience. For they the last half day my phone hasn't worked well for more than minutes. The rom has locked up (and needed a soft reset) at least 8 times today. Almost no programs are working and the task bar stays viable while programs are running. Opera 10 final, Opera Mini 5, Skyfire, Coreplayer, Arktask and WVD all do not work. Opening Arktask causes the phone to freeze on a white screen.

(no, i am not a n00b and yes i always hard reset after flashing)

Not sure what the problem could be.. i have been using the same ROM on my personal device and have experienced nothing like what you are describing... might try to flash stock ROM first...

Just flashed rom, like it so far. Only problem I'm having is that the windows messaging client only shows my responses and doesn't show contacts messages to me. Although the HTC messaging shows both...

yes you should as many have or want a boost rom working sms and mms
you will make some noise for sure lol
