I would start by going to Sprint's website and following the steps they list for making sure that your phone will work overseas. Here is an example of if you were visiting Germany - LINK

Sprint Lovers 2.5 is built from the oem release and nothing has been removed from the system. If you are having problems with my rom overseas, odds are that you will have problems with the stock rom as well. If you have the stock rom I would advise you to flash to that and see if the problem you are having persists. I cannot offer you further help as I have not traveled to Europe with my phone. I can tell you that Jamacia and Bermuda both worked fine for calls/data.

Appreciate your answer, but it's simply grossly incorrect at multiple levels. The stock rom provisions an overseas access point and this rom does not. (The Pro2 two data connection works in Zurich with the stock ROM. This has been confirmed repeatedly.) Why not check the stock ROM (settings/connection/connect/manage connections and note that only one connection (Sprint #777 on CDMA) has been provisioned, and no GSM connection has similarly been provision, which is absolutely required? BYW, Jamaica and Bermuda support CDMA and are therefore irrelevant to this dialog, which is focused on GSM only countries.

First, if stock works for you, flash back to it and enjoy your vacation/work trip. You don't have to use my rom or anyone elses on here it as is your choice. Secondly, the only thing I can think of is that due to making the phone tethering/wi-fi router undetectable, certain aspects of how the rom was put together had to be altered since Sprint's new update continuosly changed back the provisions for tethering even after changing them over manually. You may also want to make sure that global smart dialing is enabled as well as automatic prepend (just an idea) Try another chef's rom (mighty/mr.x) and let me know you if you get the same results. As I stated before, I removed almost nothing from the rom only added/customized/tweaked. Lastly, my work is made for me and it is my choice, not obligation to share it or help you with it. I answer these/your questions and create my rom's on my own time and last time I looked, your signature was not on my paycheck.

EDIT: The issue most likely lies within the changes that were made to the ConnectionSetupoDB folder within the OEM folder of the ROM. This was was done as to make tethering safe and to stop the contstant changing back of the values for "ForceCellConnection" to "PhoneAsModem."

Somewhere in the cobwebs of my demented mind it seems to me that you posted a cab that would allow the use of Audio Booster without a headset being plugged in. Would you mind re-posting it, please?

BTW, I've found this ROM to be bullet proof, although I'm still using 4/16 because I'm too lazy to reload the 50 some odd applications that I have loaded.

I don't recall posting a CAB for that. To my knowledge you have to have a headset to use audio booster.

i had to go back to this rom after many other roms just didnt work well or didnt work well in the long run. i hope when i get the Evo, i'll be trying your roms there too!

Need some help. Been using your rom for awhile now. So far it's crashed twice (getting stuck at Launching Htc Sense). I had to do a hard reset both times. Please advise me as to what I can do to avoid this problem from happening again. Thanks.. Love your rom by the way. Thanks

For what it's worth, I had the same problem, and I fixed it by installing the program "cleanram" and executing it whenever I have been actively using the phone.
