Now the HTC task manager, oh man, but I love it too much! Yeah, I've read that as well. Call me in denial but I feel like I just can't live without it. Anyone have a suggestion as to an HTC task manager alternative? I'll do my own research tomorrow, but some direction would be great and appreciated! Quote:
I guess I just want something that works and I feel as if WinMo has let me down and that WebOS may fulfill that wish. I love the flexibility of Windows Mobile, my ability to boot both Android and Ubuntu, the wide range of software, the customization, The TP2's freaking amazing form factor with the best keyboard on any mobile device smaller than a netbook, and FIRST and foremost the AWESOME community. Honestly, there's only two phones that it seems can tear me away from my Touch Pro 2. The HD2 and the new Evo. Until then, I'll continue to try and love my TP2. Mainly because I can't afford a 4G plan, lol. No matter what the price is. Thanks guys, you're all awesome.

Re: Official Sprint 6.5 ROM Touch Pro 2 RELEASE (Official Discussion Thread)
Okay, so I re-flashed the Sprint 6.5 ROM update, and I do have CM Wifi Internet Sharing working. I also want to tether using USB to PC, but after the first install (see page 94 for problem detail) none of the ICS tethering cabs nor the Reg Edits worked for me. So let me ask all who have USB to PC tethering working fine this question: Which ICS cab did you install to get this work? Did you also have to do the registry edit? Did you install the program to your device of SD card after running the cab? I currently all this cabs on my SD card and ready to go. I just need to know which one works with the least effort. I have Calkulin's WM 6.5 Tethering Fix, Mr. X and Mighty Mike's Tethering Tracked Hotfix, ICS and WModem Fix, RsBrown69 TP2 Tethering Fix Mar 20 2010. On my TP2 with the stock Sprint 6.1 ROM, all I did was download the ICS and WModem Fix and it worked with no reg edits. Also, with 6.1 I connected via Active Sync selection. I read a response that I should connect as storage. Huh? The PC just reads the pics from my storage card that way. I don't feel like flashing this baby again, so please someone help. Thanks.

Re: Official Sprint 6.5 ROM Touch Pro 2 RELEASE (Official Discussion Thread)
You still have to do the regedits along with the modem fix tethering cab. Go into your registry and do the edits that have been discussed by member "boo boo". If you're on sprint you dont have to have the stealth cab but it surely won't hurt. search the tp2 forum for boo boo's tethering instructions and it will work with usb. make sure you dont use the "phone as modem" in the connection list, use Sprint.

heres the post you need to tether with usb. After you do these steps you can install mivhty/mr.x stealth cab. but install it last. good luck.

Thanks tx_d...,
I will try this when I get home. Can't do it at work. So, you're saying I "should" be able to tethering just doing the registry edits? I will try... |
