sorry, i havent used 6.1 since my diamond came stock with it...lol i may be able to whip something up just for you though cause i am not fond of 2.1 or 6.1

I had a puzzle today, I went to send a txt but it said my sim card was not installed. I deleted the txt and wrote a new one. The second worked like a charm. Not sure what happened, last time I put a sim card in there I couldn't even send a txt. (It was a unregistered AT&T card.)

i have never heard of that... you may try pulling the sim card and replacing it... very interesting...

Well, I really don't need a sims card. USCC is a CDMA carrier. But on some custom ROM's the missing SIM card icon is on top. I bought an unused ATT SIM card and put it in there. When I went back to Stock for a few days I noticed that I could not send txt anymore. I had USCC replace the phone because if it. (Mainly because I forgot about putting it in there. And when the new one came, I put the SIM card back in and I still couldn't text. So USCC was going to send another phone. Then I took the SIM card out and all worked fine, had to call USCC to cancel the other phone.) But I did a soft reset and so far all is cool.

Some issues:
my call history is not showing up on the 23116 rom, whenever i press talk hardware key to bring it up, i dont get recently dialed contacts , just ALL my contacts. Even using Cookie Hometab 1.7.1, it takes me to the call history tab, but nothing shows up, so i never know who called me if i missed it. =( Also, the dialer is really slow to pop up, not 911 friendly at all. I rmbr energy saying one time that he compressed the dialer so that it would show up faster, any idea how to do that icey? Itd be nice to cook it in for the next drop maybe.

i am downloading that one now to test out. mine didnt have that problem. let me mess with it and ill shoot you a new link to test for me...

Yes, white background looks too much like stock!!! My favorite is useally transparent background with silver metallic numbers.
