polling the system clock to update the taskbar time every second would use 10 times as much battery life as every 10 seconds. I'm sure this was hard coded on purpose.

Yessir I did, that's the same issue I have on mine. I got it to work on its own, but now it won't work with the rest of the theme LOL!

And btw, the wallpaper I had in the test cab (red frost looking one) was not supposed to be in the package LOL. The carbon one in the screenies above are the intended backgrounds. I can give the others to you if you want them still though
