Thanks darren.wlsn1 and fishingmedic :) I'm curious what the status of/experience with Cookie's Home Tab is with this ROM? Before I install it and run into the same issue as with MR where I couldn't uninstall it and the Home screen started lagging like a mofo, don't wanna travel that road again hehe.

edit: Also, random thought that surely I'm number __ to think of, anyone know of an app/mod/whatever-it-may-be-called that adds bluetooth to the Notifications area? Either button access to the bluetooth page and/or means to turn it on/off instantly. My friend's Omnia II has a Notifications pop-up that gives a button for each thing (battery/bt/wifi/etc) and it just popped in my head to ponder if something similar has been modded into Sense :)

im running cookie and no lag. as for the bluetooth thing, u could just put a comm manager shortcut on ur homepage, its not exactly a direct link to bt or wifi, but its pretty damn close. or u could use the smaberg powerbutton 12icon, which basically is a mod that makes so when u hold the end key instead of turning off the phone it opens a menu with shortcuts for bt, wifi, text, email, soft reset, etc...and of course power off.

Bold, as cnoevl said, no issues with CHT. I'm running it too and although I don't have anywhere near the quicklinks filled, there is no lag whatsoever. None... I have loaded this thing up, as Dash did in his YT vid, and you can't get lag or lock ups, unless it caused by user error. As far as the bt, there's a cab that makes your left softkey an action key and links to bt, e-mail, etc, etc, kinda like what cnoevl was talking about, but instead of the end key, it makes the left softkey bring up the action tab. Either way, there is a way to kinda get what you're looking for, much easier than having to manually go into the comm manager each time. Give it a little bit too, some of the other users may be able to pop in with a recommendation.

I have the same question. How do I enable the home screen weather animation? I'm not talking about the small one below the clock, I'm talking about the full screen weather animation on the home screen. I have my location set, it automatically detects where I am and sets the city name and weather (again the small one below the clock) but not the whole screen animation. I only saw this when I first got my phone. I'm still on stock ROM and thought maybe a cab I installed broke this so I did a hard reset and did not install anything but was still not able to get the animation. I navigated away from the home screen and back but nothing. I really liked it, it did not slow my phone down at all.

use the r6 cab i posted and that adds 16 quicklinks plus background 4all then on bottom right of homescreen hit menu/wallpaper/animated and hit the wallpaper with lightningbolt, that will enable fullscreen weather. please thank santod for te cab. i posted it couple pages back or use paperclip.

Did you try hitting the taskmanager in the upper right hand corner of the screen? Did you change wallpaper? I haven't been on stock in so long I can't even remember if there were other steps to get it to work, but I don't think so.

I found whenever u change ur background it deactivates the home screen weather animation. So what I found is that if you change the weather background (click menu button on home screen to change) to be the same as ur home screen background it works. I just ran a test myself to confirm. Should be good to go...hope this is what u needed.

Bro Darrens on the pc now, ain't no holster for that thing!!!! And maybe I misread, but didn't he say he was on stock? Will Santod's mods work on stock since he's VZW I didn't think they released a 2.5 yet...Maybe I'm just losing it.

I am using the Co0kie mod and have it filled with quicklinks to programs on one page and I use the other two pages as contact links. Haven't noticed much lag, no freeze up issues, just plain works great with this ROM.

As far as a link to turn on/off bluetooth, wifi, soft reset, & data on & off - try this cab...
HD2connexions.CAB. Once installed you can place any one of these as a quicklink on your home screen.
