I installed/uninstalled Swype and didnt have any issues, but the phone was still almost bare bonez.

I've found issues where even though you remove the file and SR after, funky things could still be happening and a HR is really the best way to go about fixing it. It'll start you off fresh, and maybe even throw in a reflash just to make sure the d/l wasn't corrupt.

Okay Im having a little trouble connecting to active sync? Any suggestions? I went into the connections usb to pc and made sure active sync was checked. I can use file transfer so I know it isnt my usb cord. I can even use phone as a modem, but I cant get my phone to active sync anymore. Anyone run into this and was able to fix it?

Thanks bro. I was trying everything but restarting the comp. I even soft reset my phone like 9 times already after messing with some connection settings. I will give this a try and let anyone else who has ran into this prob know what the outcome was. Thanks given as always. Off topic...Does anyone in this who entire thread have more comments than Darren?? 15,000 and counting?? I saw that somewhere and thought to myself...there is no effin possible way someone has 15000 posts!!????? They MUST have meant 1,500!! please forgive me if this has already been answered. I can't find how to turn off this word completion thing. Xt9 doesn't have any boxes checked. That stuff drives me batty.
