Has anyone had any problems playing songs in Media Player? I just hard reset with nothing installed and i am unable to play any music. Even searching storage card is bringing up nothing. everything plays in Sense tab but not Windows Media.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is probably a dumb question, but how do I know if a ROM is 6.5 or 6.5.x?

6.5.x ROMs have the Start button on the bottom left corner of your screen.

Im using this ROM and I can say this is the most stable and faster ROM just I want to Know if is possible what when I get a phone call or a message my phone just RING, no flash screen, just the RING?

I have build 21889.5.0.87 installed. I have the issue where when I am outside the verizon coverage, I get the constant annoying popup :

"Device is registering on a voice service only network. Data services are currently unavailable."

I will be traveling overseas in september, so I need to fix this problem before I leave. Does anybody know if the newer version addressed this problem ? BTW, I tried the fix of installing the last roaming capability (Verizon), but it seems to be worse on the Verizon network.
If it was addressed, does anybody know any other good ROM that doesn't have that issue ?

I tried that, but soon after...I had a few phone calls where it was really breaking up (on the Verizon network). Something that rarely happened before in that location. I just want a ROM, where this is not an issue.

stock rom it's not an issue. custom roms it's an issue.
you sure you used the right prl in that thread?

I am a Verizon customer, traveling all around the country and occasionally overseas.
Maybe I will keep all of them in my phone and try them...

you should use the same version number that your phone normally has.

No. Actually I used another one. I will let you know if it works better. Hopefully I will be outside of Verizon coverage. Thanks for the advice.

Sounds like maybe you have the global roaming feature on your account, and the device is searching for a gsm network. Call verizon tell em to turn off your sim for now. no need for it until you leave country anyways.

Did you go into connection settup and see if it is searching for a country. rom might be set to on by default, and since its recognizing an active sim, it recognizes you have roaming capabilities on your account.

I can't turn off the global roaming. I am a pilot and fly to foreign countries. Usually only stay 1 hour and turn back. I need my phone to be able to make a phone call in case of emergency.
Anyway I did the fix and will see if it helps. Thanks for your advice.

Problem with LED Notificcation Lights.

i've just flashed the newest MR X ROM. My LED notification light blinks for every new email I get even though I've unchecked the box in the sounds and notifications settings. I've even tried messing with the registry in HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\

But no luck.

anyone elsse having this problem?

its the same for me, but it stops flashing after u check the email, text, missed call, etc. i noticed i couldnt turn it off but its not that big a deal to me so i just left it alone.

does anyone have a fix for not being able to hang up right away when you accidentally hit a contact in the previous calls list? Literally it will ring until someone picks up, THEN it hangs up.

i don't have a fix, but i have noticed that it hangs up quicker if you use the on screen end key instead of the hard key, though most of the time i instinctively hit the hard key so it always rings once or twice (argh)

anyone else have an issue with the facebook app? For some reason when it shows ppl's status it like they are posting something on someone's wall instead of just being their own status, and its just some random name. i.e. shirley jones > mike anderson... when in actuality the shirley jones person is just updating her own status. its really weird. everytime i refresh the random name changes...so weird.

Kind of a ridiculous request. But when you guys run this ROM, what all cabs do you install to address the known bugs? Any help is appreciated. If you could, list the cab and what you use it for. I will give you all the thanks I can for your help!
