yes the new versions of Sence are called sense. or well all decided to call it sense.

it sounds like your messing with a bunch of stuff in the rom that could be causing this. I change my background on my phone everytime i flash a rom and non of my settings change. i even went from sense to titanium the other day then back to titanium and that didnt reset anything. maybe try keeping the stock icons? or just change them in the registry only using .png files.

also it seems as though your using prgrams to do things you can easily change in the registry. maybe thats causing it?

I doubt it's the background, I've done custom backgrounds before and never had this happen. I also enable and disable Titanium regularly to **** around with CHome Editor, also well before this happened. I don't really like messing with the registry myself, I haven't delved too far into it without a step by step guide because I've caused many a problem on my desktop doing that. The amount of times I had to reinstall XP is just ridiculous.

Also, can someone point me to where the Start exe is located? I need to put it into WkTask so it doesn't permanently close it, making me soft reset. Tried the hide on task list and don't close with X but sometimes it still does it. Thanks.

Are you on the latest ROM? Mr. X's rom's don't have push internet enabled

you also do not need the dynamic resource proxy cab....also from reading your posts bro...stop delving into stuff you are unsure of....when you start changing dll's and moving files you are going to have issues....this rom is fine....

Hi, I just read about your problem with the icons. I just had a question. Did you clear the icon cache after changing the icons? My icons would not change until I did that. Not sure what could be causing any other issues.

Yeah im gona try and set a personal record and run this rom for more than 3 consecutive days in a row! After running task 29 and that flash procedure this rom is blazing! I tried Cookie but to laggy for me so im going back to standard 2.5, till one day canada gets a decent winmo phone other than the tp2

Congratulations on this ROM. I've been through a bunch lately, and I'm pretty amazed at the speed, stability & even battery life you've managed to get onto this phone. I am running cookie and GTX, and really have no reason to hope it all work this well. So, well, thanks.

anyone else having an issue with their dial pad? when i press phone, my recent calls r at the top, but the actual dial pad doesnt show up, just my home screen is there on the bottom half, as if the numbers dont exist.

On this latest version it usually fixes itself after a few seconds but in the past and even sometimes now I have to open and close the slider to get it to reset to normal. Gives you 16 quicklinks, like CHT does, but only the links, along with BG4all and landscape IIRC. It's from Santod, check out his threads in the themes forum, incredible mods.

Lol Thanks for the cab but i like the 9 icons way better, the reason i tried cookie was because of all the widgets. i still cannot find a high quality wallpaper like the im trying to find one like the animated but without the movement.

I used this cab for quite a while before CHT was pretty much perfected. It worked very well, with one exception. Unless it's been fixed, it messes up your calendar in YEAR view. (It would show all the placeholders for the months, but wouldn't show the months - just a white background) All other views are fine. Never was a big deal to me because I rarely if ever had a reason to go into year view. I never think that far ahead. . .

I must say battery life on this rom is a lot better then the previous rom.

had phone off charger 1pm wednesday and didnt put it back on the charger till like 2am friday morning.

Actually, I thought I was all alone out there. And then, I found the attached link. It was at that time that it became clear to me that there are thousands of us with this disorder. Even though we are NOT alone, I hold no hope for us.

I am now to the point that when I flash a new ROM, I don't even take the time to set it all back up like I like it anymore because I know that the ROM Pusher's out there (NGRZ, Mighty Mike, Mr X, Express, Vinny, Etc) will be constantly presenting something new to feed my habit. Then, the compulsion will overtake me and I will blow away all settings and modifications I just made a few days ago, and start all over.

I've ran into an issue - no matter what time I set the display to dim it returns back to 10 seconds (default). Can't get it to change permanently.

Any suggestions???

I have no idea if your problem has anything to do with what I experienced or not, but immediately after I installed Cookies Home Tab 1.8, my display began dimming almost immediately, and going into lock screen a second or two later.

I wasn't able to find what was causing it to do this until AFTER I uninstalled CHT 1.8 and realized it was still doing it without ANY version of CHT installed. That is when I decided to go into the regular Settings, Display settings and discovered it had changed it to something like 5 seconds dim, and 7 seconds off. I'm assuming CHT 1.8 changed this setting, but I had already uninstalled it when I set the values back to what I want them to be, so I was unable to determine if CHT would keep setting this value back to default.
Do you have CHT 1.8 installed? Might be the culprit if you do.

How do you tether with the tp2 via usb on a mac using the free stealth tethering? Wifi router drains battery too fast.

Does anyone have MrX Rom working on Boost mobile? I have it going, but I can't get my MMS's to work. I have tried a TON of different tweaks. Tried everything people suggested. Does anyone that actually has this Rom on Boost have any suggestions? I am more then willing to reflash and go step by step exactly as told to get everything working. I don't want to have to go back to the Sprint Rom cause it SUCKS and stalls out on me all the time and I have to do restart way to often.

lol true, but i want a wallpaper i can use that doesn't move, animated wallpaper take a lot of resources and "weather wallpaper" are just as bad do to the weather. if u use a standard wallpaper it shuts of the weather so ur phone speeds up considerably.
