Mann I hope I can beta test next time. But good thing this 02/18/10 rom is so good it really dont matter. Cant fix anything that isnt broke, all Mr. X can do is make it even better... Cant wait to see what you guys got....:mrgreen::evil4:

his gps locks with google maps is like instant.

Mr.X has people beta testing as we speak. And all looks good. Unless issues are found he release soon.

Lol....mine locks instantly on every rom I try..

Juggs everything is running great....had a samll quirk with texting...when I would go to landscape I was only getting a half scree....but it was fixed with a soft reset...it was right after my home screen mods....so it was probably attributed to that....I beat it up pretty hard....solid as usual...thx bro!

I am having the same issue for some reason, no GPS Weather, but data, GPS, email etc. work, I just put it on the main city I live close to and use that for the time, weather for the sense UI, and weather animations on home screen. I do notice that it works right after a fresh flash on 2 different occasions, so it must be something I loaded on.

EDIT: my GPS WEATHER Problems came from using Footprints with this ROM. I loaded everything with it and without it and that was the difference.

I Don't understand why you guys are having these problems with weather.....

I go to weather then settings check the DOWNLOAD DATA AUTOMATICALLY
and enable my location and that's it................................................ .....

I do not add my city or nothing and it picks me up in sec.

New rom is running great. GPS locked on instantly, Weather works, Maps work, even my Smartphone tracker worked instantly. Volume is great, Bletooth works awesome. No data problems, (running 1.96.10 radio) All my apps installed no problems. Memory stays at about 62% even with opera, WMP, facebook, myspace, and google maps all running at the same time. WiFi Router works perfect. Been runnin it hard for 6 hours, and even the battery is doin awesome. Looks like ya have a winner X. Max 3.0 also runs flawless on this version too. Will give it good battery test at work today. but for now I gotta goto sleep. gotta work in 5 hours.

Anyone getting the Error Code: 11, PPP Data Connection Error issue. I don't have another smart phone laying around to do the swap online and so far nothing has worked to resolve the issue so looks like back to VZW ROM if I can't get this resolved successfully. Man I was loving this ROM to:angry7::(

UPDATE: YIPPEE it is not an issue at all. The problem is on Big Reds end. VZW is having a National Data Issue that is effecting most customers nationwide. Never thought I would be glad to have a data outage lol. Have a wonderful day all and I can wait for the next release hopefully 6.5.x

I have no issues with weather. I do have issues with trying to install any sense mods. Anything other than a simple clock will break something either its landscape view or taskbar soemthign lol. But other than that WOW

Everytime I try to install an array clock with the 4x6 quick links, I Get problems, either I get no more Landscape in Manila (black screen), or I can`t see the clock or the quick links and need to hard reset. Anyone has a good working combination?

I found a new bg4all that works better and is a smaller file size (thanks to smaberg/touch X for making a bg4all specific to 2012) (and a cab to remove it)

I'm also rocking MightyMike's slider icons that was in the 2.1 rom and the Touch X (smaberg) transparent white clock. Weather animations and animated wallpapers run much smoother with this setup than the last rom.

Is there any noticeable differences between the new Beta and the 2/18 Rom? I am thinking I might just stick with the 2/18 as I have not run into any issues since using it if not much has changed......
