Re: RSTG Roms - Spb MobileShell 3.5.3 - 21893/23541.v05 .-. 3/6/10
Exactly - the best ROM for TP2 period! I for noe not having the s2u2 issues at all. Please update the ROM, drop the HD2 nonsence, HD2 is nowhere as cool as TP2 and unless you glue a keyboard to it - never will be

I was gonna rebuild it a couple of days ago, but I didn't have my kitchen .erv file for it anymore. I'll see if I can't revive it with a newer sys wednesday for everyone.

constructive comment: I for one would either prefer to do without the sub folders in programs, (with the exception of office) and have all my programs under programs. or if there is sub folders have a better filing system. "programs1" is vague.
"tools" "system" "utililities" . I would use "internet" <-- which would include anything that needs it like RD, internet sharing, browsers, ftp, anything that uses internet utilities <-- for programs that work to maintain the device including file explorers CONFIG<- for any programs that confgure the phone or the apps. Apps <-- for apps or just leave them in the main area of programs I tend to make my own "favorites" folder too. But then if all the links were in "programs" then it woudl be easy to make my own folder filing system just drag and drop the links into folders i create using total commander or usb connected through my pc file explorer etc. I just noticed a weird thing that my out going call log shows the phone numbers instead of the contact name, even tho i'm calling back from the cal log which does show the contact name. |

I THIRD/concur with those 7 suggestions quoted. Putting links to the cab files at the end the rom
post woudl be good. you can also make it xda_uc compliant to do the auto installing. that would totally rock, because i tend to keep backups of my cabs on my sd card anyway incase i need ot hard reset on the road. don't really need too much in my rom. although i like IE as my browser. again browsers can be somethign the user installs though. The rom has SIPChange, goto startmenu-settings-personal-sipchange and select your own keyboard... I'm building now and will upload it soon! |

1. As soon as I flashed this rom it told me that mobile shell has expired! I dont get to use the 15day trial version? (solved: this just did a hard reset after the flash) 2. it wont let me change the skin on any of the widgets, the options are gone. 3. Also on the today screen Instead of values all I get are empty boxes. 4. The pull up keyboard is really small is there somewhere in the registry editor that I can change the values to make it larger? 5. The indicator light does not blink. Tested missed call, tested voicemail, tested text, tested email. Not working for all. Any ideas? Thanks Last edited by ModmyPPC; 04-13-2010 at 12:56 PM. |
