I had the same issue with my stock Sprint ROM TP2. I flashed it with 2.23.00WU radio yesterday, fully charged it by 5PM - battery was dead by 5AM this morning. Highly abnormal. Phone was just on and idling with no programs or services running. Normally, the phone could do this for two full days and still have half the battery life left. I was also having an issue with the phone freezing when I tried to power down the phone. I had to remove the battery to get it to shut off.

This morning I flashed back to the 1.96.10WU radio and everything seems to be working great. Will post if there are any other issues.

from my understanding, the 1.96.10wu was for the stock rom.

I am cunfused.

I did the hspl unlock. This I know becase I can flash custom ROMS.

I purchased the SIM un-lock and ran the exe. I thought I was becase I did not call verizon to sim unlock. I can use my att work sim card so I must be security unlocked... Right?

So why does my radio read 2.05.00wv? I want to try some of these new unlocked radios but dont want to get stuck in bootloader. Can some one help me out?

if you get stuck in bootloader, just run the re-locker. your phone won't be bricked, and after running the re-locker, it'll take you right back to where you left off. just make sure to only stick with these radios, don't flash a gsm one.
