So this is probably a stupid question but if my phone came with MightyROM installed does that mean it's security unlocked and I should be able to flash this radio (I bought it used)?

No. Having a custom ROM means it has a HardSPL. To get security unlocked to be able to flash an unlocked radio, go here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/cdma-tp2-d...-unlocker.html

in there any benefit to flashing these radios if staying on sprints service ?

Not really, this is mainly for using GSM on your TP2 while in the U.S....really good for making calls and text, but you'll only get Edge data.

Oh , okay . i wasnt sure if flashing these readios would allow me to utilize GSM towers while being on sprints network to better increase my service . like i could with changing the PRL to a verizon one . which allowed me to use verizon towers and get better signal.

Does anyone have a current link to either of the WU radios? It seems searching here, or on XDA or even in fecking Google, all the links for the radios keep turning pages that go 'Fixed Links!' but when you click on them, they're -all- dead. I don't care which WU it is, either the 2.32 or the 1.96, but I'd like at least ONE of them! Please? :)
