Hi All, I have a couple of questions, totally new to unlocking the radio. I've used several custom roms and am currently on the latest energy rom.

1. If I flash my radio to unlock US GSM (I have sprint TP2), does anyone know if CDMA and GSM is active simultaneously or are they active only one at a time and I have to switch networks. So my goal is to have both CDMA and GSM active so I can receive calls on both without having to manually switch networks.

2. If I have both CDMA and GSM, is it possible for me to only use CDMA for data and make sure to disable all data usage on GSM?

Making phone calls on both lines is not as important for me at this point as long both radios are active and I can receive calls.

1) Not going to happen, you can only use one or the other, but not at the same time.
2) It will be set up that way automatically, you have to change settings in GSM to get data, you'll only get calls and text.

I've been a long time follower (not much of a poster) and have flashed many custom roms since i've had my TP2. However, i've never ventured into the radio world. I've really had no reason to. IE. why fix something if it ain't broke? But every time someone posts a new radio, i ask myself "could that radio be better and i just don't know how bad mine really sucks? ". I rarely get a dropped call. Are these radios really better than stock?

Alot of people get that lol, these radios are just tweaked stock versions to work with the unlocker.... I haven't had a super signal because of it :).

will the 2.32.00 work on the sprint TP2..

i am currently in france and updated radios and it is not working...

these radios are from the stock radio, olipro just made them world unlocked (wu). if you are running a stock sprint tp2 with winmo 6.5, you're already running the 2.32.
the radios came as follows:
1.96.00wf sprint with stock 6.1
2.23.00 verizon stcok 6.5
2.32.00wf sprint stock 6.5

all the other radios came with the sim unlocker...a 1.96.10wu was made so that everyone could have auto find with gsm, not manually as before with 1.96.00wu. 2.23.00wu came when verizon got 6.5, 2.32.00wu when sprint got it. hope that helps :).

Does anyone have any data regarding improvements in the 2.37 CDMA radio (VZW) and if there any benefits, can we expect to see an unlocked version?
