Can you get GSM 3G(tmo) with a Sprint TP2 and if not can you get edge? what are the settings for Tmo 3g/edge? I searched all over, but only see ATT settings. I would like to try the 3G (if possible)/edge on this phone while using my TMO service. NON PREPAID. have a 500 min with unlimited txt would like to add the web but need to know if is going to work.

from what i've read here and elsewhere, you can't get 3g on a sprint tp2 here in the states but you can get edge. i'll try to find something about the data, unless someone who knows can help out.

I found this link in the Tmo Site but cant get it to work for what ever reason.

This is the setting you are suppost to use if you have a phone that is not from Tmo but is unlock. If anyone that has Data with tmo sim please try this and let me know thanks

OK what about it. He doesnt show how to do it. I tried this setting but get notting.

they said they called t-mobile and was walked thru. that might be easier.

I got it to work but when i go back to sprint it still try to use the Tmo settings. I have to remover the setting in order for the sprint to work. or go into the setting and tell the phone to only use #777. the auto part is not working any idea?

do you have tmo and data on it?

if you do here are the setting.

Switch to GSM
go to all setting
go to the connection tab
go to the connection icon
go to manage existing connections
go to new
name your connection (default is my connection1
Select a modem Cellular gprs/3g
next
wap.voicestream.com
next and you done.
I would softrest after and that it.


go to connection setting
press new
