I just ran the unlocker again and it said it was successfully unlock so I checked my radio and again it says 2.05.00wv... I give up or I got tooken for 25dollars

if there is a "wv" or "wf", you are not unlocked. it should say "wu". if you're not unlocked but paid, run the steps again. make sure after each step to check wmdc or activesync for a connection.

thanks I will try again...do i have to have the original sprint sim card in or does it matter if i dont have a sim card in it when i try to unlock it...

I will have to try something else went threw the hole dang process again and still get the same radio version WV.... this sucks hard lesson to learn

you need to have the already activated sim card in, also putting the phone in gsm mode before unlocking.

absolutely incorrect. I just did it with the MR X Rom installed. You just have to make sure that you have your sim card installed, Make sure that you are set on GSM Mode, and run it. It runs fine. Only part I am unsure of, is whether or not you HAVE to flash a radio afterwards. I did, After all was said and done, I ran the 2.23.00 Radio exe and put that WU radio on my phone. once I rebooted, it tuned right in to the TMobile signal and worked right away.

However, I noticed on a side note, that when you reboot the phone now, it doesn't show the ROM, RADIO, status, like it used to when the TouchPro 2 screen is up. But, It works, so I figure, if it aint broke, don't fix it. Just kinda curious why that went away.

Yea i flashed a both radios on two different tp2's which is posted at the beginning of this thread after unlocking and it worked well ...

I can even confirm 3G Service and i got the pic to prove it :D...

I can see the Olipro boot loader and then the grey screen for flashing, then boot loader again where it hung. Looks like after the error, it was stuck going into the RUU loader to reflash the radio and hangs.

The radio was previously HSPL and security unlocked and have been flashing other Radios and ROM's. Also, was using my AT&T SIM.

Before the error the Verizon TP2 was reflashed with the Verizon MR1 update to get the Verizon 2.23 radio. Then reflashed with the latest Energy ROM. Had many problems with the phone locking and thought I'd try Olipro's 2.23 update over the Verizon official MR1 applied 2.23 update

Prior to the Verizon MR1 update I had the USC 2.05 from Olipro's radio unlocker and used various ROMs.

Was able to flash a different USC radio version to the Radio to get the phone past the boot loader hang.

Then I re-applied the HSPL and original sercurity unlocker. Then was able to sucessfully re-run Olipro's 2.23 radio update. TP2 is now working with Olipro's 2.23 update and the latest Energy ROM.

Regarding the update error and the boot loader hang, I'm thinking the Verizon MR1 radio update was causing issues with Olipro's update and the custom ROM's I was using.

when you are flashing a new rom or radio, if you look at the bootloader screen, at the very top of that screen you will see the words "SECURITY UNLOCKED." that's how you tell if you are security unlocked.

you must donate, download, and run "RhodiumWUnlocker.exe" and make sure you check the checkbox that says "Security Unlock" when you unlock the SIM.

Wow, thought we were here to help people not beat them up when they make mistakes. Oh I forgot you guys are freakin perfect right. hmmph. I retract my previous post. My interpretation of the person asking the question was reguarding unlocking the phone. You guys need to lighten up a bit. Go get laid or something. Wow.
