Perhaps, but out of all the different versions of pluto/neo that I've tried recently, the version i'm running now, pluto 08i/04 has the smoothest sense interface, imo. I mean CHT works quite seamlessly. Incidenty, it also has the highest torus score. Now this may be either placebo, or a coincidence but for now i'll chalk it up as validating the opengl test.

Of course this is all IMO, and I know others feel otherwise.

I just went from 8-4 Pluto CHT to 9-14 pluto cht. 9-14 is just as fast if not faster than 8-4, yet the torus score went down from around 9000 on 8-4 to 6400 on the current 9-14. Obvously a faster score means some types of opengl graphics processes are running faster, but it doesn't seem to relate to the graphics rendering in Sence or CHT

That flying donut seems like lying to us.I had 9100 score on older rom and photos tab picture scroll was choppy.
Now this ROM has low 6000 torus and pics seem to scroll smooth...

9000 vs 6000 should be noticable isnt it?

I'll take your guys word for it - you and Vin have far more extensive experience - shrug, I am just reporting my personal experience. And like I said, my logic is certainly subject to error - fast rom + high torus score doesn't mean there is a causality there.

On the other hand, haven't tried pluto 9-14 (tried Neo 9-15 from the September series.) I'll give that one a whirl soon.

Something you released has caused me some issues VIN.

I installed the hotfix, rebooted, then installed the dfd, then rebooted. Then i had 20mb free ram and a bunch of errors (for low ram) then i rebooted again. then alll seems well. but i am noticing about 5mb less in ram on start up. i'm wondering what of the 2 hotfixes i used that caused me to have less ram available.

What is the difference between all the MMS cab fixes for Sprint?? Which one is the fastest?

vin, after using your 8/20 for a day I immediately flashed back to 8/5 no-cookie via sd-card flash.
I was just having too many weird odd problems and lockups...it's just not nearly as rock-stable or fast as your previous build. weird graphical bugs as well.

I will be watching the thread to check for updates, I have my fingers crossed!
