uploaded the batch of cabs that i use when i fresh load Vin's rom. these are battery saving tweaks... seems to work very well for me. less battery spikes and better management.
lumos is a app for brightness control using proximity.. helps save battery when your brightness doens't need to be high. it will auto adjust. hope this helps people

Re: 03/08/10 Sprint Neodium_V9 SYS 21895**Plutonium_V6 SYS 23544 "The Cookie Edition"
so i finally got aroudn to running the weather app for the first time lol boy was i amazed at how awesome it looks on the mainscreen with its animation and stuff!
but a couple questions I have about it: 1)I have it on update manually only so does the animation itself drain more battery then without? 2)If it's on update manually and the weather stays the same which would be dumb how do I turn the weather icon back off? 3)If you say use the weather switch on/off quicklink then I would have to ask you what's wrong with mine bc nothing changes whether it is on or off. edit:i see weather switch is actually for the animation itself.so how do i get rid of the sun/moon/cloud? If you say that's not what it is for then I would have to ask what it is for? Thanks for the help guys Last edited by itony; 03-12-2010 at 06:01 PM. |

twe90kid,
That first battery saving cab you are posting breaks Bluetooth - uninstalling it get my Bluetooth connection back. Just letting you know this. Gary |

Yes - that is the one, at least that has been my experience - just duplicated it again now on p6 rom.

Hey Vin just dropped by to say hello. Rom looks great. Wouldn't mind asking you a few things about the cdma worldphones as far as needed & unneeded pkgs but I'll have to wait for the whitestone_w hardspl.
