to get smooth animation I have to remove htc x-button tassk manager-thats what htc did.
I think better to keep it and disable animation

Yeah, it's not too unsmooth...I'll leave it alone.

I just applied Mighty Mike's ICS and Wmodem fix, and the internet connect sharing via USB works now (so I can tether and not kill the battery)...and the icon appears in my start menu.

Hey MikeOD -

What ICS and Wmodem fix are you talking about? The reason I ask is because PAM doesn't seem to work, and my Acura TL actually tries to use my phone as a modem in order for the navigation console to dialup and send/receive messages. I'm sure its because PAM/Wmodem isn't working. Can you point me in the right direction?

once you install it, select "sprint" instead of "phone as modem" from ICS, wifi router seems to only show me sprint as an option anyways, which is why it worked before

ok... i tested the ICS problem... without installing anything, on stock rom, there's some problem. you need to first go into comm and disable data connection then go to internet sharing when you plug in your phone, it will connect properly. if you don't disable data prior to choosing internet sharing, it will not connect properly. it will always show waiting for connection...

i wonder what vin forgot for v6, becuase this problem didn't exist in v5

I notice the black text on a white background isn't consistant. Some looks bold, other looks regular text. Screenshot attached. See the landscape screenshot how the T's look bold as do the left side of the P and R's

is it helped? I dont think there is a difference between "sprint" and "phone as a modem",just a words imo
