Re: 12.13.10 VINdows ROMs

Happy belated B-Day Vin! And... many thanks for your 12.13.10 VINdows ROM. It's been smooth and fast, with no noticeable issues so far. Cheers!

And not to rub it in, lol.., but it was 85 degrees here yesterday (15 degrees above normal) and beautiful. Nevertheless, right now we're in a La Nina weather pattern, which keeps the jet stream and it's winter storms to the north of us in So Cal for the most part. In turn, our Winter should end up being cooler and dryer than normal, with many low humidity wind events (which suck), instead of much needed rain. Vin's local in the Northwest should get more storms and rain, and most of the South and Southeast should be cooler and dryer than normal. Plus, if this La Nina is strong enough, the hurricane season in the South and Southeast will be more active and much stronger than normal (which really sucks). Yikes... type rambling again... Anyway, stay warm and batten down the hatches.

Merry Christmas & happy holidays to all,
R

Gary

I used the "Black Numbers no Tabs Clock" and "No Clock Background" cabs from this post.

Basically a transparent stock sense 2.5 clock.

And, thanks Darren for turning me on to bwizard, I'm a big fan of full screen backgrounds.

is there a way to throttle the cpu frequency down depending on the load? i dont want to overclock my TP2 but i dont want the cpu to stay at 528Mhz either. i want it to go down on lower load.

almost 24 hrs. this ROM is rock solid.. Vin 28244 is spectacular.

Yeah, install this OC to SD Card (in case you add OCT_Run to startup & it locks up on boot, you can pull SD card and boot). Then under OCT_GUI set CPU speed to just under or just over 528. I just set it to 518.4 ... and left everything else default. Click set, then "OC on/off", then set again, then click "OC on/off" twice. Settings will now stick. Doing nothing has my CPU at 86.4. :headbang:
