Vinn is there anyway to backup ur facebook contacts when using ur ROM or do we always have to manually link them. Ps great ROMS!

Not sure what you are using to back up your phone contacts but it should keep your facebook data. The facebook data is stored in the notes section of your contact details.
You will just have to re-log into facebook via sense after a flash. Then it will(should) sync them all back up.

I use PIM backup and it doesnt relink ur facebook accounts when you restore your contacts. The only contacts that restore are the ones that you have saved in your phone with the same excat spelling as the person facebook name. I am looking for a way to backup the facebook contacts without relinking everyone manually.

I use PIM backup, but only for call history and text messages. I let Activesync/WMDC handle my contacts, email, and calendar, and don't have any issues with losing Facebook contacts. Every time I flash Vins latest creation, here's the steps I perform:

• Extract latest ROM to 1 GB microSD card.
• Run PIM Backup to get all call history/text messages.
• Run Activesync/WMDC to sync Outlook calendar/contacts/email.
• Power down phone, swap 16GB microSD card for 1GB card and flash.
• While phone is flashing, copy 16 GB microSD card to PC, just in case phone lost or card gets damaged.
• After flash, run PHM Regedit to change email and attachment storage to Storage Card, and misc. other tweaks.
• Fill out My Contact Card info and link to Facebook. Also update Owner Info.
• Reboot phone so new registry takes effect, swapping back to the 16 GB card.
• Activesync/WMDC to restore Outlook calendar/contacts/email and My Documents.
• PIM Backup to restore call history and text messages.
• Re-Install various and sundry CABs to get applications and games back.
• Log in to Facebook application.

That's it, and like I said, I've got no problems with losing facebook contacts or having to re-link them. Only issue I've got is I don't have a good way to backup/restore MMS messages. The text msg will still show up from the PIM restore of my txt msgs, but I lose the MMS attachments they're linked to.
