I might just have to try one out for a little while to see how it performs. Also, I haven't seen many VZW users in this thread or any VZW specific cabs/Arcsoft in the OP. This rom isn't Sprint only is it?

For VZW folks, Vin recommends using ROM as is without running provisioning. If you have issues, try using it.

As far as Arcsoft, most folks use this for Verizon MMS which is paperclipped

This is a generic ROM. Vin started out with Sprint format, but he has always been great at responding to feedback. The result, let non-Sprint users in on the best ROM in town. Quite a large number of Verizon users in this thread!.

Enjoy!

Would you all say that 6.5.x has finally reached a point of stability and usability comparable to 6.5?

Stable enough to use it on a daily basis. Does have its flaws but in all they have come a long way.

Not just for Sprint. A generic ROM for all CDMA carriers.

No problems for me on Verizon.

Thanks for the new thread Vin! 6.5.x really should be developed further. Even if it's mainly for Asia markets that will not be able to deploy WP for a while, due to language conversion issues.

Torus is just one of the tests to show the WM 3d rendering performance. From what I can tell with a quick search, is that it tests the actual WM 3d shadow mapping performance.

Here's the note about it from OpenGL:
"torus light: torus with 3k triangles and one lightsource (visual glitches)".

I have been doing this for some time now with all the ROMs I have been flashing. Just out of curiosity I wanted to know if anyone else was also setting this option to on. I usually get about 14 to about 15 maybe 16 hours of battery life with a little above moderate usage when setting this option to on. Just wondering if anyone else was also doing this??

What is "Advanced config, BSB or HD Tweak"? Are these 3 different products? I would like to try one or more of them out. If I can get a little more life out of my battery I can go back and use S2U2.

Thanks!

hd tweak is the best imo, lots of options. hdtweak and advconfig are close to the same but i like hdtweak better.
