I move my processor speed up to 748 MHZ I don't want my phone to freeze or lock up. I usually up the speed with the phone plugged in. To reduce the chance of the phone locking up. It is good to see people experience some change with the processor speed. You will notice the biggest improvement with the photo album. I have my phone unplugged with my processor speed at 748 MHZ. My phone is running smooth as butter.

I purchased a BlueFusion car kit and every time I place a call the "In Call" volume window (Windows default slider) pops up and I can watch it slide itself down to minimum. Next call... Starts at max and minimized again. If I'm fast I can slide it back up.

I know its not Vin's Rom's fault. It also happens on my son's TP2 which has the default 6.5. I also know it doesn't happen for all bluetooth connection as my Plantronics 655 headset doesn't do this.

Oh, also spent half hour talking to Scosche. Their solution: Get an iPhone or Blackberry.

Any ideas on how to keep the car kit from changing the volume? Any ideas on where to ask?

Nothings wrong with lock device but when I install it I set it to lock when it goes to sleep and thats all it ever get used is that one time.
A simple reg edit is nice cause theres no app needed to do the same thing.

Hi VIN,
Have you ever re-consider cooking a non-Anastasia ROM using your original Icons set without the DINIK Transparent effect? I kind of like your original ROM configuration better than the Anastasia one. I thought I would raise the issue and perhaps if there is other people here sharing similar interest, please voice your preference in the hope to build a noticeable consensus and maybe chef VIN might favorably consider cooking a Non-DINIK (Non-Transparent Icons) version of his ROM again.
Any adherent support is more than welcome and expected. However, those who might have opposing preference, please be considerate and refrain from destroying the attempt.

I dont know for sure but if you feel like messing with it you might try dumping everything out of the folders and into Windows\Start Menu\Programs then run ziggys Start menu cab.

The one I usually use screws up the clock on this ROM.

Weird part...I think it actually works... ***FWIW***.

I did notice a few things (slider response, weather tab animation, etc.) move a little quicker. For example, my weather tab animation (night, cloudy) went from 20 seconds to 17.6 seconds from start to finish. However, during the first couple runs through the weather tab, I noticed a few hesitations in the animations. I received a text during one run, and my weather updated on another test run. This skewed the numbers, so I had to turn on flight mode.

Well, this is pretty much telling us that our CPUs are **NOT** our bottlenecks. I'm pretty damn sure it's our RAM, and a faster GPU & dedicated video RAM would help our phones MORE, IMHO, than a faster CPU.

Ah hah...a crash, sorta. Wake from sleep causes an error. But you can just exit & the phone is seems fine.

Anyhow ... just my .02....FWIW

did you notice it only works when connected to ac power? (thanx yern)
