I agree. Also prefer to be able to remove dinik phone skin ( Not a fan of too much Candy ) . Anyhow, willing to try this new NEO Cookie to see if CHT along with 21908/2016 is as fast as 7-5 No-Cookie

BTW, Your 7-5 Neo ROM kicks Major Arse !!! "Mostly ALL" Arse !!!

I've tried Pluto with and without cookie....with no CHT, everything on the home tab runs smoother, even the photo tab scrolls through pics smoother. So, sinse I don't really use the quick links anyway, I just assume to run without CHT - hint, hint, hint Vin.
(no offense to cookie or santod, just my personal preference).

correct, not being lazy its faster cooked in. im not lazy but do like my cookies cooked for speed.

You should see a speed difference between CHT and Non CHT.
With the CHT version being a bit slower... :(
CHT can be optimized and cooked in and it will still be slower...
The more you have running in the backround the slower it's going to be no matter what. (Nothing anyone can do about that)

So If you like the extra links and the cool features CHT has to offer (Like me) then you will be glad to put up with the "slower" performance (compared to the Non-CHT Version). ;) It's not much but there is a difference...

i just tried out the latest neodium cookie and made some registry edits i found over at xda and it seems to have improved speed/smoothness in manila, but it could just be me :p

if you guys want to try it out, i made up a cab. let me know if you notice any changes or if i'm just losing my mind.

*as far as i know, its not going to mess up anything since i've tried it on a few different roms now with no negative effects*

Could you point us to where you got the regedits?
Thanks

sure. some of the regedits on that page ONLY work for the HD2 but the rest seem to work fine on the TP2 (I've tested all of them, but the ones for "576MB Users Only" freeze the TP2)
