I need to know if data works after flash and after provisioning on 6.5.x cookie

i happen to be running Plutonium at the moment. i got data to work but i had to set up the user name and password (witch is blank) and check the save password to get it from come back. i also and to go to connections and edit the verizon and pick #777 not the auto pick. it wouldn't work if it was on auto pick. when i reboot my phone it says "device is unable to determin currenty country. please verify your current location." i hit on and it takes me to network and i have cdma only in the Mode of operation. i just hit the check mark and all is fine after that.

I mean compared to some ROMs battery has lasted about 13 to 14 hours. This ROM I am lucky to even get 7 or 8. That is barely a full shift at work. My wife text me just a few minutes ago and said she is down to 50% already and she has had her phone off the charger since 10:00 this morning and its now turning 2:00. That is good?? In 4 hours the battery is half way dead?? That does not sound good to me. I mean is there something I am doing wrong? Its sad when you have a phone but dont want to use it for the sake of conserving battery for longer than a 7 hour period. I cant even talk on my phone without it dropping 10-20%.:angry7:

Edit: Maybe I will have better luck with V2 cuz just flashed it today.

If I use this rom moderately during the day, I will have 70% after 8hrs on average. that's with some push email during the day, some 30 minute sync of two email accounts. 3/5 calls under 30-45 minutes, several data sessions but not constant so intervals of 5-10 minutes at a time.
One thing I do frequently is charge my phone at night, in the morning when its full, I take it off the charger and put it back on and it will charge another 20 minutes or more. You can see with battery monitor installed that it will stay above 100% for up to an hour. HTC needs a better solution but if I dont charge like this I would probably lose about 10% in the first hour. I agree though that the point of these phones is to use them but the battery life just doesnt match the capabilities. Its the same for every other ppc, iphone, and android device. Not ideal for sure.

edit: also should say that I am in great coverage area at work, data speeds are 1300kbs and up so signal is excellent.

Ok after provisioning -no data.
Can you install this cab and manually soft reset.
It should auto provision your connection. If its not autoconfigured your device, can you do it manually and see if data works.

startmenu>settings>connection>connection setup

I will be glad to try it, though it will be a little later tonight before I can reflash a clean ROM.

What is the difference between the 05/09/2010 version of Plutonium Cookie and the 05/18/2010 version? What has improved.
